Let me start out by saying that I'm ex-military and I moved a lot and seen more than my fair share…read moreof doctors. Dr. Jordan Loftis is incredibly knowledgeable and instantly put me at ease. While I'm very impressed with my doctor, the exceptional thing about this practice is the staff. They're polite, friendly, and they follow-up. They also went to the mat with my insurance company (who is the worst vortex of transferred calls in the history of man kind) to get a prescription I needed covered. Yes good doctors may have wait times, but I almost always get an appointment the same day and I've never experienced any excessive wait times. Bottom line, these folks are awesome.

E.g., you're here for your annual physical - you need to pay another co-pay if you want me to renew your prescription. Oh, you want me to refer or order further testing (i.e., cardiologist), that will be another co-pay. I felt like I was weighing assessor options at a car dealership. 2. Blood testing - they send you back to the lobby FOR YOU to sign-up to have blood drawn. FOURTY FIVE MINUTES later, I just gave up and left. 3. I specifically asked to NOT be referred to anyone or any provider affiliated with Mercy Hospital in Durango, CO and what did they do? - you guess it, referred me to a provider affiliated with Mercy's parent company - spirit health - ughhhh. I refused #1 and didn't get my meds...probably better off anyway. Why should I let them greedily pad their margins by double-dipping - I am already seeing a PA (never a Dr). I was thinking - if I have to make a co-pay, I am entitled to another visit and another conversation with the provider. I refused to be their chump. Well they hit me with co-pay for ordering tests anyway and referral to other physicians. I don't blame the PA, I've been seeing for the last year or so - she's perfectly fine for a medical professional and very personable but unfortunately she's put in a position to be concerned with revenue and earnings vs. 100% focus on the patient.

Washinski was my doctor for years. I thought the Indian hospital psychiatrist was bad. Washinski…read moreis way worse. First of all. When I had an appointment I paid cash and it's $175 for about ten minutes. He won't talk to you or take your calls unless you pay that $175. When you call for refills it takes days for him to send it In. Even when it's for anxiety. And I have bad anxiety and depression. All he has to do is call it in. I've waited days. I've racked up so many ER visits because of anxiety and also withdrawal symptoms. A couple of the er doctors had to actually call him and ask why I haven't got my meds. His poor staff has to hear and calm down patients. Because he will not makes calls. I even showed up at his office, he just looked at me. No hello. No how have you been. He took Kim into an office and told her to tell me to schedule an appointment. Washinski doesn't give a shit about his patients, he's just about the money. I mean $175 for less than ten minutes. I would think very seriously if you want to be treated like crap and ignored and spend more money on ER visits. If that's what you like then washinski is great. One more thing. I lost my son in 12/11/23 and you would think that would have some impact on the care. Hell no. I went to the ER more after I lost my son because he ignored all communication. You want good mental health then stay far away from this hack.
