I have experience building and remodeling houses and was paying extra to have someone make this bathroom remodel a stress-free experience. All it ended up being was stressful. I will add more detail to this review and pictures of the poor workmanship. Update: We disagree with Nova's attempt to reframe what occurred and feel it's important to clarify for future homeowners. Nova was provided with a detailed list of outstanding issues and asked to confirm completion dates -- they never responded. After walking through the list with their project manager, work stopped just days later. Nova then presented a cancellation agreement and made it clear no further work would continue unless we signed it. Upon legal review, the agreement included problematic clauses -- including a release of liability and a ban on leaving negative reviews. Our attorney sent a demand letter outlining $14,160 in additional costs, which included: Corrective work (tile reinstallation, wallpaper removal, unfinished electrical/plumbing, shower door installation) Unfulfilled scope that was removed without refund (wall tile, recessed lighting, heated floors, and lighted shower niche) After accounting for what had already been paid, we requested reimbursement of $6,595. Nova never responded. This situation could have been resolved professionally. Instead, Nova failed to communicate, deliver quality work, or take accountability. They were effectively terminated, and we had to finish the job ourselves -- at significant added expense. We stand by our review and share this so others can make an informed decision.

One of the options was to get our own material, which I did since I was able to put it on my credit card to earn points. We have also heard bait and switch where they quote you one price and then charge you a bunch more even for a minor change. None of these happened to us with the Best Seattle Decking. Uri and the team showed up on time every day including Saturdays and finished the project on time and within our budget. Uri is very meticulous and pays attention to details. He is experienced and suggested many of the things to build us an excellent deck, cover, pavers on the side of our home, trash cans enclosure, tool shed and a new fence door.
