I really don't know the name of the bands, but the headline was a Tom Petty Tribute Band, REALLY REALLY good! Lots of cute shops, restaurants, paint pottery, walk around, playgrounds, play/splash fountain (bring a towel), cute coffee bar, etc. come enjoy a few hours. Plenty of parking around, just please be carof foot traffic. Security is always around; Duluth's Finest!!!

At the center is a big water fountain that makes the whole area feel like a gathering spot. There are tons of little shops and restaurants to explore, plus a paint-your-own pottery place that's really fun. Families will love the playground and splash fountain (definitely bring a towel if you've got kids). I also love the cute coffee bar--it's a perfect stop when you're just walking around. Overall, it's a charming spot that's great for an afternoon stroll, grabbing a bite, or bringing the family out. Always something to enjoy here!

This was the most bizarre circus I've ever been to, hands down…read more I'm a huge Cirque du Soleil fan, so when I heard a Cirque Italia was in town, I was intrigued. The website and the fact that they had free kids tickets at Del Taco should've been a sign to me that this wasn't going to be top-notch. But I found a good deal on Goldstar and figured it'd be entertaining enough for a Friday night date night. Cirque Italia was set up in the parking lot of the Gwinnett County fairgrounds, and the tents resembled a small Cirque du Soleil. So far, so good. When we walked into the tent we realized that the "climate control" was just one heating unit in the corner. It was FREEZING inside! I put on my best game face and settled in for the show. The entertainment was so underwhelming I found myself yawning and struggling to stay awake about 20 minutes in. Sure, the performers had talent, but the weird music and choreography was so off-putting. The theatrics were so over the top, it was like watching a terrible soap opera. The clown that performed every 10 minutes in between acts was so, so irritating. I wanted to like this circus so badly, but it was just a train wreck.

We chose seats 3 rows back at the end of an aisle thinking we would have a good view only to have a huge tent support structure almost in direct view of our aisle seat. After going back to look at the seating chart, we noticed a small square that represented this pole, but there was no legend indicating that that was a huge pole blocking your line of sight. (See pic) Concessions has no pricing, you have to ask about each item. Large popcorn and a bottle of water was $13 which is about average, I suppose, but you could put out some signs. Now for the good news! The performers were really great! The water show part was different and very beautiful. I think this would be most enjoyable for families with children. There is comedy relief in between the acts with cheesy clowns. Don't pay a lot for your ticket though. Definitely look for a discount somewhere. Google and find cheap tickets and enjoy yourself.

Catering by Marlowes and access to some really fantastic reserve beer makes it worth the extra money. Not much of a crowd inside the tent, but after they opened the gates, lines started piling up quick. Still, no waits more than a couple minutes, unless you wanted to use the VIP bathrooms. They really needed more... BTW, if you had a problem with traffic or parking, it's because you didn't take Uber. It's a BEER FEST; don't drive!!! We won't make the mistake of missing this event again...

Brilliant organization. The vendors were scarce this year, but our favs were there. That Greek Girl, Towel Chic, And the Israeli couple with the bohemian clothes and jewelry! We went earlier in the day to also take in in the church tour this year and it was well worth the time! Proceeds from the festival are going to the building of the multiuser parish center, church, and outreach facilities.

The Polish Pierogi Festival is the annual fundraiser for the Saint John Paul II Polish Apostolate. There you'll find Folk Dancers, Pierogi, Gotabki (stuffed cabbage--delicious), Grilled Kietbasa, Polish Beers, and Polish merchandise. Food items are sold by ticket. (But everything else is free: free admission, free parking, free entertainment...) Definitely buy your food tickets in advance (pick them up at Will Call) and get there early. The food is good, and people are realizing this, so the line for tickets can get long, and they may run out of food if you show up late. Food tickets are $1 each. Savory dishes range from 3 to 8 tickets each. My favorite items were the Gotabki, and the Potato and Cheese Pierogi. (The Mushroom and Sauerkraut Pierogi were a close second.) The Grilled Kielbasa and Bigos is noteworthy. Bigos is NOT sauerkraut. It's something of a "stew" made with cabbage, pork, and tomatoes. Delicious. I do wish the festival were later in the year. Late August is brutally hot to be eating food at a sunny table. The food itself is sold inside Parish Hall. The line moves swiftly, but it does get crowded. And that room needs better air conditioning to handle those crowds. On the other side of Parish Hall you'll find a wide variety of baked Polish goods from Grand Bakery & Café. This line does not move as fast, and they take cash for their goods. But the baked goods are really good. We sampled a variety of sweet rolls, donuts, and turnovers. They also sell whole loaves of bread and boxed cakes. I took home a whole poppy seed roll. It is very dense. I can't wait to cut into it later on. So keep this Festival on your radar for next year. The personalized snacks were a HUGE hit in his classroom and I almost didn't want to even give them out because I loved them so much. I can't forget to mention that she referred a great business that does cakes and that helped seal the gamer theme that I was trying to achieve .I was more than satisfied with the Ready to Pop Office Baby-shower that I had for one of my friends for work. The decorations were amazing, the attention to detail was everything . There was a popcorn machine on site which was just the best !! I will definitely be back for more, you will not be disappointed!!

This place is a great alternative for local Gwinnett residents to see some pretty holiday lights…read moreinstead of traveling elsewhere like Atlanta. Granted, it is a lot smaller but they packed a lot of lights in there for a $10 entry. ($10 is the online price, $12 at door) It is in a random residential area with a gravel driveway so you might miss the entrance, especially in the dark (We had to make a U-turn) but the GPS does take you there, just follow it carefully. It turns out this festival is on some farmland. It has a gravel parking lot and you walk through dirt/grass...so wear comfortable flat shoes. There are different light themes throughout. You first enter the "Under the Sea" theme. Other themes scattered around are Christmas, Chinese, etc. It is a quick walk through, but if you stop to take perfect Instagram worthy pics like I did, you can easily be there for an hour or 2. There's also a few fire pits, a little makeshift ice skating area, some farm animals, and a food/vendor tent. Inside the tent is where we saw the huge panda mascot! It was dancing and brought great energy to the crowd. I'm a HUGE panda fan so obviously I had to take a picture and even made it dance with me. Hehe. Everyone loved the panda and it truly made our visit. That pretty much ended our night, so we headed back to the car after an hour and a half. This place is only operational until Jan 1, 2022 so I would go before it closes!
