As multicultural as Brussels is, it's really hard to get a staff member that speaks anything but French....soooooo good luck! We ended up (after several visits) getting her some mirrors, a shoe rack, her little kitchen table and chairs, a rug, and a side table for the guest room. So, after a bit of coming back and checking on stock....we got what we were looking for....but it's dreadful when more often than not, what you're looking for won't be in stock.

Stocks are regularly down and for me, the wort part, the staff hardly speaks anything else other than French... One can argue they know one of the local languages, still a major shortcoming in such an international city (perhaps IKEA can train their staff in English) And be aware, if you're asking for a delivery, you might have to "rent the street" in your comine, and you need to do it at least 5 working days in advance (and pay that as well, around 90€ in my case), so consider other was pf transportation. (No, this was not required in Portugal ;-) )

The Cafe is wonderful and is a great place to stop for tea in the middle of a shopping spree, where again you will be welcomed by the really polite staff.

Its doors were deformed and did not close. When asked several times for a replacement, they said new doors will arrive between 4 to 6 weeks. They end up arriving after 3 months. These old doors have clear marks of usage and were extremely dirty, not even in a box and it was my problem bringing them home and installing them. When I complained observing that they were old used doors instead of new ones, they said that they could not help me further. - I also bought them a "toilette broyeur" (SANICOMPACT @ Comfort ECO +) for 1542,75 euros (the most expensive from the "Sanicompact" brand they had available). They gave me instead a cheaper Lafiness D840. When I complained, they tried to convince me that it was a Sanicompact in a Lafiness sealed box (LOL). A mistake of their provider, they said. I did not accept the explanation since, although quite similar, I found pictures of each product and saw that indeed what I got was a Lafiness. Finally they accepted to "change" it and, in around two months, gave me the very same toilette in a plain carton box with an A4 sheet of paper with an impression taken from the online Sanicompact catalog and glued to it. I recognized it since I took pictures of the previous one before giving it back and they have the same stickers in the exact same place. You have been warned.
