I also discovered something I'd never seen before: Walking Tamales. They looked like an interesting alternative to the typical energy bar, which often seems loaded with sugar and other sweeteners. The people at checkout were friendly and helpful, making for a pleasant shopping experience. I'd definitely stop back the next time I'm in the area.

I got the best brewed coffee of the day there (impressive considering I stopped at two different coffee shops beforehand) and also purchased a package of pita chips and hummus that were made in Eau Claire-the pita chips were spectacular-the best I've ever had, and the hummus was good too. I opened the hummus pack last night with the idea of only eating a few, but couldn't stop myself until half of it was gone. So crispy, crunchy, yet airy and light.

Our son is a very picky eater and we can only eat so much pizza and beef, so it's great to add another item to our menu's. :-) It was wonderful to talk to the owners about how they raise their bison and see all the products that are made out of bison.
