The owner is disrespectful, patronising and gets personal in a broken English trying to fault his customers for his failure to get supplied in medication. I have been told I am a liar and screamed at, I won't ever set foot in this pharmacy again. I have rarely experienced such an aggressive "customer service". Besides this, the owner fails to be discreet when needed and loudly say the name of the medication and what it does even for repeat medication, not ideal. And when you want to get a one-off treatment/product and ask to see what they have, if you don't buy it the owner will dismiss you rudely. Honesty at a loss for word. I don't wish this on anyone.

However, while small in stature they are big on satisfaction. They have a separate window for private consultations even! They have the essentials and can advise you on what ails you. On this particular visit I needed a cream for my infant son's skin and the chemist quickly suggested a generic of a certain cream, rung me up and I was on my way. Easy peasy, less than 2 minutes and only £4! I'll definitely be back when I need something close by, quick and efficient. They don't have all the bits and bobs that Boots has, but let's face it -- do we really NEED all that stuff anyway!? I probably don't!

They also offer to order things in for you if they don't have them in stock even a particular flavour of cough sweet! I'd go to Benjamin's before any of the other chemists in Stoke Newington. The only negative is that this year they didn't stock the generic form of the hayfever medication I prefer, and the branded product is way more expensive, so I went to Boots to stock up on that one for half the price.
