Before that time, I was a patient of a large medical practice in Issaquah for over a decade. I've always tried to eat well and stay fit through exercise. So it has been frustrating that the story I've received every year at my annual checkup from my primary care physician at this large medical practice is the same: some of your biomarkers are higher than ideal and we'll just watch them. No further investigation, no analysis of underlying causes, no next steps at all. After I saw Dr Woodall, I learned for the first time that there were steps that I could take to address the underlying causes of my high biomarkers. The steps that I have taken include both medicines as well as nutritional supplements based on scientific knowledge and lab testing of vitamins and nutrients my body is not absorbing well. And I'm confident that the steps that I have taken will help me stay fit, active, and healthy as I move into an older stage of life. Dr. Havilah DeBell took the time to talk with me about my son's care and after we discussed it, she recommended I take him into the Emergency Room for a scan and observation. Fantastic Doctor, Absolute Administrative Disaster…read more I am writing this with a heavy heart because Dr. Maplethorpe is genuinely one of the kindest and most attentive physicians I have ever encountered. However, the office operations at Lakeside Family Physicians are so incompetent that I would never recommend this practice. I spent five months trying to get a simple new patient visit claim processed. The office staff repeatedly attempted to file with the wrong insurance provider. Despite my efforts to correct them, they were incredibly unhelpful and provided zero updates. Ultimately, I had to coordinate with my insurance company's care team to resolve the issue myself because the office staff could and seemingly, would not handle it. Furthermore, their communication is abysmal. They canceled an appointment without calling to confirm or even leaving a voicemail--we only found out when we got to the office and were met by a barking dog in the lobby filled and Maggie telling us it had been canceled. I have genuinely nothing nice to say about the office manager, Maggie. Her lack of aptitude forced me to do her job for her by coordinating with my own insurance care team to get this matter pushed through and finalized. It is a disservice to Dr. Maplethorpe to have the administrative team "running" the business side of the practice so abysmally. If you choose to see Dr. Maplethorpe, tread carefully and make sure to comb through your records with a fine tooth comb; the front office simply cannot be trusted to follow through.

My son was in excruciating pain and I was trying to tend to him and get all info relayed they needed but it seemed like there was a lack of urgency. I noticed this with woman next to me also checking in and she was on verge of vomiting. But I was trying to hear right next to her. Maybe its the plexi glass but seemed like they could have spoken louder at checkin which would have helped move it along and get us all to treatment quicker. Dr Moen js 10 stars. Literally the best doctor I've encountered ever. My son broke his wrist and she was able to operate on him in Seattle then cast him in Issaquah a couple days later. She was too Notch and patient and covered most our questions before we even would ask them. She was also quick and efficient and has put my son on a fast track to recovery. There was confusion only from mychart where we didnt realize we needed to go to imaging first. But she alone is the reason I would give Swedish Issaquah a 10. The gift shop reminded me of a high end hallmark boutique. I could have stayed in there for hours. The starbucks was stocked and moved fast.
