We had a great day at this hotel on our recent trip to Efteling . We chose to stay at an on-site…read morehotel so that we would get admission to the park both on the day of arrival and the next day. Unfortunately, due to flight delays we did not get to the hotel until 15 minutes before the park closed on the first day. Nonetheless, our room was ready and we didn't even have to stop at the front desk. We were able to proceed immediately to the room with our phone and the Efteling app. We were able to eat in the restaurant that evening and the food was excellent. I had pre-arranged breakfast the next morning at 8:30. The breakfast was also great. We were in the larger room in the main hotel building. There was a separate bedroom area with two single beds pushed together in that room. The other room had two bunkbeds. So overall, our room could have slept six. There were only three of us so everybody got two beds, which was great, especially after a long flight from the US . There was also a picnic table. The room was a little bare bones. There weren't a lot of amenities like there was no refrigerator or microwave or tea kettle but the beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was spacious. There was a shuttle right outside the main building that you could take to the theme park. You could also walk. This was the less expensive option, but we really enjoyed it and would happily stay again. I love that they have so many accommodations that fit families of all sizes. Everyone was very friendly. They also have secure luggage storage for the day if you visit the park the day you check out.

Great place! We stopped because we were tired and needed some food. I noticed this was a French…read morebistro, but it is actually way more. There is a nice bar type area in the back, but with supercomfy chairs and a nice ambiance, lots of wood, liquor and low lighting. To the right after you enter there is a bar type area, I took a picture of that. The dining room area to the left of the entrance was inviting, smelled like good food cooking and the menu has a big selection of vegetarian, fish and meat. Staff was kind and came back frequently to check on us. We chose the carpaccio to start, and allow me to definitely recommend that one, it is very French and excellent flavors. My husband went for the burger and my son for the mussels -- which were also made the French way, with white wine and carrots, celery and onions. Fantastic, next I am going to order that one. I decided to go Morroccan vegan with pearl couscous which was herbed to perfection. And have I mentioned their fries?!!! Really, really good. My dish has hand-made chips with ribbels, check out my pictures. Yumyum, wonderful bistro! And affordable. Street parking.
