The atmosphere inside is very cozy and they usually have good music playing in the background, at night they turn the music a bit louder. Outside they have normal tables and chairs but also lounge couches with heaters. The service could be better though. It's often quite slow!

Sometimes they are busy or not interested and you don't get the story. I wouldn't have noticed that the drink tastes like a salad, and not in the bad way, had the bartender not told me the story. A couple of times I asked if they have merch for sale and one time they had pins which I bought. The next time I came, they were out of both pins and shirts. Bummer. I recommend a visit when you're looking for a cool place in Amsterdam, especially when you are staying at the hotel.

He didn't have any in the menu, but suggested his take on a classic: a smoked pumpkin old fashioned. In addition they were served on a piece of wood that had been chemically treated (toxic!!). I would say - come here if you want coctails and a view - for that it's great!
