None of your questions would or should alter a price of notarization. You are assuming that your customers don't know what they are doing. I called another notary and he gave me the answer straight away. I went there, with one of my initial witnesses and got the document notarized. You did not need to know any of the questions that you asked me. You were simply trying to save your self time by wasting mine. And, with this reply, you are simply wasting more of it... Assuming that all of your customers are incompetent is insulting at the least.

Even though it was a Tuesday, the place was crowded. But there were a number of clerks working. Some seemed to be devoted to licenses/IDs and others were doing title transfers. You signed in on a clipboard with a name and why you were there. The line moved pretty quickly and eventually we were successful so Mom is legal for another 4 years! The building is an old Masonic lodge that was divided up to host a couple of different businesses. Bathrooms are in the lobby and there is a slight step up to get in the building but nothing Mom couldn't handle. The staff was courteous and patient with everyone which was pretty impressive considering the crowd and that NO ONE likes to do DMV stuff.
