I'd waited until the day before surgery to get one. Stephen explained the process to me On the phone. Everything was executed exactly as he described. Since it was such a rush for us and an emotionally draining experience, he allowed us to drive up to a location with our two witnesses where he provided notary services at the window after checking our identification etc His firm also drew up the paperwork for us. I cannot recommend this service and this firm enough! We've dealt with our fair share of lawyers and professionals in our time, but it's rare and such a treat when professionalism and efficiency are combined with care, kindness and affordability. We are so grateful!

I waited in my car for about 20 minutes and saw another attendant walk in who I thought was the worker doing notary services. I went back inside and that worker informed me that actually the notary would not be in until 10:45 am. I am extremely upset with this. I scheduled my appointment online over 12 hours in advance and to arrive and find out that the notary would not show up until 1 hour 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Why have an online appointment schedule if it will not be honored. Extremely unprofessional. They mentioned that the online system was not notifying the notary however that is not an issue or error that the customer has to mitigate. There was another elderly couple who came in for notary around the same time as well and they called ahead and were told 9:30 am. They mentioned how hard it was for them to get around so this was extremely inconvenient for them.

So all the places to get switch her over were chaos. So we tried out Jefferson Title, after an early morning doctor's appointment and before we went out to lunch with family. You signed in on a clipboard with a name and why you were there. The line moved pretty quickly and eventually we were successful so Mom is legal for another 4 years! The building is an old Masonic lodge that was divided up to host a couple of different businesses. Bathrooms are in the lobby and there is a slight step up to get in the building but nothing Mom couldn't handle. The staff was courteous and patient with everyone which was pretty impressive considering the crowd and that NO ONE likes to do DMV stuff.
