Box of treats just got delivered by FedEx guy
    Kristian U.

Flawless experience top to bottom, I couldn't possibly rate these guys anything less than 5 star, the experience, prices and food were just that good. Got a deal on my first order and picked out 6 different meals to try and share with my SO at home. What a joy to think you're getting healthy, gourmet meals at home, without having to go grocery shopping or cook right after work - who really likes getting into the kitchen at 6/7pm on a week night anyway. For the busy young professional or young professional couple this is ideal. If you've got the extra money and are lacking in time then this could be ideal for a family as well, but it may become cost prohibitive to order 3+ single meals for several meals in a week. But to each their own. The experience was simple, set up an account at www.efreshmeals.ca, select which meals you'd like (you can choose between breakfast options, healthy options, gourmet, etc). Each meal has a delicious picture, lists the ingredients (no preservatives) and the full nutritional information. Prices range from $8-16/meal depending on what meal and how fancy. Once you've "stocked your fridge" (instead of filled your cart), check out is a breeze. Your delivery date is provided and your meals arrive via FedEx in a temperature controlled box where meals are layered with reusable cold packs for freshness. Once home you can either refrigerate or freeze the meals (don't worry the heating instructions for both are provided whether you're warming up in a microwave or oven). The best part is that for ever meal they sell, the donate one to a worthy food charity, so basically you eat well, you eat healthy, you don't have to do dishes, you don't have to cook AND you do good for someone else? Yeah it's a no brainer! I won't go into every meal in detail that I had but I will list the ones I ate as a reference point for you reading this review - know that each of them receive my personal thumbs up (amazing) so if nothing else you'll like these 6. BEEF TACOS | BEAN SALAD, SALSA - $12.25 PROTEIN PUMPKIN PANCAKES | MIXED FRUIT - $9.50 AUTUMN QUINOA | MIXED GREENS - $12.25 PIRI PIRI CHICKEN | ROASTED POTATO, GREENS - $13.25 FIVE SPICE CHICKEN | SWEET POTATO, GREENS - $12.95 TURKEY MEATLOAF | SWEET POTATO, GREENS - $12.25

Better than grocery store TV dinners!

I have tried this place a couple of times. Here are my thoughts: - great variety & decent size meals - food taste good for most entrees - price is reasonable since delivery is free - delivery is not that convenient since they only deliver 1-2 days of the week (no choice) - hard to get a live person on the phone for assistance Overall, I will use them again because there are very few providers like them in the West end :( I tried a couple of other services as well and after placing my order, they said many items are not available or they can only deliver after hours (7pm to 10pm) and only 1-2 days of the week. I had to cancel my orders with these other guys because honestly and quality are very important to a customer like me. I ended up returning to refresh for prepacked complete meal entrees. Btw entrees store and reheat very well from frozen :-)

Bolognese, not very good. Oddly dry and the meat was grainy. Not sure if I got a bad batch?

A little on the pricey side per meal, small portions and low calories I enjoy the convenience of the meals I just wish the portions were bigger! Some meals are only 250 calories We tried: Lemon chicken- good! Bolognese- good! Bigger portion Chilli- good 7 grain salad- good but its smallllll and not too filling Ravioli butternut squash- good!! We will order again but now we know how big the portioons are and can plan for a small snack in addition to the meal Just wish the portions were bigger or the price went down a bit

Meals are terrible. Poor quality and looks like dog food. Bland and horrible customer service to boot! Avoid

My boyfriend and I went with the Ossobuco Gnocchi Poutine. Being Italian, I didn't know what to…read moreexpect from it. CAN you deep fry gnocchi? Yes, yes you can. The crispy gnocchi were coated in cheese curds and smothered in braised veal. What a combination. The gnocchi were not heavy, like others I've tried. They were lighter and absolutely deep fry-able. The veal melted in your mouth. Instead of gravy the jus from the veal did the trick. If you told me I'd be eating a gnocchi poutine last week, I would've said you were crazy. Apparently the Arancini is to die for. At least I know what I'm getting next time!

So I've been trying to jump on the food truck bandwagon but I keep falling off all the time, mostly…read morebecause I find the food too greasy and they want to charge me an arm and a leg for just a small ride (portion). While at Celebration square on Canada Day, there were various food trucks, the likes of which I've seen a million times (fg, Smoke's, Per Se, Beaver Tails, etc.) but I had never heard of Frankie Fettucine. I saw they had 6 selections, which included a couple kinds of poutine (osco busco was one of them), bacon mac n cheese and sundaes. I decided to get the Bacon Mac N Cheese for $10 as I just had poutine earlier in the day. This was one of the best Mac N Cheese's I've ever had. The pasta seemed like it was hand made, the bacon was flavourful and the cheese, OMG!. This was not your normal cheddar cheese. I think it was Parmesan and it melted so perfectly. I have to say, this is one of the few food trucks I felt I got my money's worth. Verdict:: If I see them again, I will definitely give them another go and hopefully let me ride the bandwagon.
