I put a substantial deposit down (equal to one months rent) on a unit in one of this companies buildings. The following day I was offered a job in another city, accepted the position, and immediately notified the apartment managers that I couldn't take the apartment. The managers, who were very nice, said there wouldn't be a problem receiving my deposit back. It took me over two weeks to get my deposit back, and Vonderahe wasn't going to give it back at all. The apartment unit was "off the market" for one day, and I wasn't going to move in until January 20th, and he deducted $206.00 from the deposit return due to "forfeit of two days rent" and "deposit forfeit processing." He only returned the partial deposit after numerous e-mails were sent requesting my refund. Again, I will add, the apartment managers were very kind, but the Vonderahe Management Company is unscrupulous. Beware.

The young children in the building run wild and unsupervised around the driveway and parking area. Running and riding their bikes around parked cars. Scratching and denting them in the process. SDC was able to fund the loan in 3 weeks from when I received their letter of intent. SDC's bridge loan provided us the capital we needed to complete the design of our new development.

So if saving a half percent on interest is worth it to you then get ready to hoop jump throughout your banking experience.
