Luckily she got off the next exit and got to a small hotel in Alamont, IL. She called me frantic and we found Interstate 70 Towing on Google! I called them up, around midnight. Richard answered. I told him what happened and he asked if she was at a safe place for the night! How thoughtful! I said yes, and he told me to email him all the info and he would send a truck to get her and the vehicle and get her to Effingham to their new facility to see what they could do! I don't know if this is why, but he sent his sweet wife in the tow truck to get my daughter, and that made such a big difference. She was so scared and had already had a scare with some men following her on the interstate going to Indiana, so she was really on edge. They were wonderful to her, and her phone service didn't have signal there, so I called to check on her and he said she was just fine, visiting with him and his wife, like she was their own! Made my heart feel good and my faith in humanity greatly restored! They had her fixed up and on the road in no time at all! So blessed and thankful for these wonderful people! If we are ever out that way, we will definitely stop by and give some big hugs for making our daughter feel safe and secure so far from home! Thank you again! We had bought this house and the previous owners had said they used Superior Fuels. Well, there wasn't any record of our house and the service guy, Jim was determined to figure it out. He drove out to the address I gave him and said he had never been there, but could provide us with propane and just give him a call when we got to the house. I called two days later and he was able to come out and meet us that same day and he could not have been any more helpful or kind. I was allowed into the shop to watch the tech hoist my car and make a diagnosis. My cats roaming around the car didn't like it, but I sure as sugar cookies did (because I'm more curious). I needed a whole new drive shaft, and the tech hunted for one while I waited in the lobby. I agreed to letting them order a used part, and I agreed to let them repair one other issue they identified. They let me leave my car with them for the week, because I still had a deadline to get to my business destination. I picked it up five days later with no issue.
