Stopped by around lunch on a weekday and there were already a few people in the store. I had thought it was just a deli but they also have rows of other products you can buy. Placed my order for two Italian subs and got them quickly after seeing them be assembled. Didn't disappoint. I thought it was a decent-sized meal for $14 and quite tasty. Bread was a bit harder than I had imagined it would be but you do get bread options so I'd try to pick a softer one next time.

It's clear he puts his heart into every dish; he's not just making food, he's taking care of people. And you can certainly taste the love in every bite! But what really means the world to me is how thoughtful and kind Robo is. My 3-year-old has severe food allergies, and finding safe food that I don't have to cook is nearly impossible. Without even asking, Robo provided a full list of ingredients and made sure everything was safe. He took it seriously, and because of that, we have incorporated Robo's pizza into our weekly dinner menu. I get a break from cooking and my son gets to eat safe and DELICIOUS pizza! Plus, my little guy scarfs down Robo's pizza like it's the best thing he's ever eaten (because it probably is!) - no toddler negotiations! Pizza night is hands down our favorite night of the week. I really can't recommend this local gem enough! Try it!!

My go to nights were weekdays because they have a great bartender that goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and have exactly what you want. Outside of her the drinks are ok. I had the pizza it's pretty good, the Haitian meals give you the best value, it's loaded with sides although they're hit or miss and the downfall of this place is that they're always out of something. It's usually pretty slow with traffic and the waitstaff at times you have to look for them (especially when you're ready to leave lol). This place has great potential but I would say it's hit or miss most of the time.

I got the Caesar salad with extra anchovies, tagliatelle with Ragu, and sea salt caramel gelato. Partner got the arancini balls, swordfish risotto, and tiramisu. Kitchen and service were fast and speedy. I got my request (extra extra anchovies on my Caesar) fulfilled. Ragu and pasta lacked a little flavor, could have used a little more seasoning, but the cook on the pasta was on point and al dente. Sea salt caramel gelato was good, and arancini balls were ok. The stars of the show were the swordfish risotto and the tiramisu. Could not recommend the tiramisu enough, and the risotto was perfectly cooked, with a delicious and tender swordfish steak. I've been going there occasionally at different times trying to talk to the Manager who apparently is never there. I Left a message for the manager days ago, and today, one of the employees says that she never gave the message to the manager and there is no number or email to reach him besides the store number which they are just as rude when they answer. They claim that they have no clue on how to reach him and do not know when he will come by. When I say rude, I mean no greeting , not welcoming , and little to no respect to the fact that I am making time to come here over and over again. In America, time is money!!! There is no place to sit, and it is quite small. Now on to the food... ordered the macaroni and cheese plate + jerk lobster and shrimp. According to the menu, this plate comes with plantain, salad and pikliz. As you can tell from my picture, I did not receive the plantain or the pikliz. The food costs $38 which is absorbent for the portion and when you pay for something you do not receive. The macaroni and cheese was edible, salad was basic, and the jerk lobster and shrimp had good flavor. Overall, I would not go back, but I do think if you're curious, you should check it out yourself-- be sure to check your order. As a side note, they give you free lemonade. It tasted watered down, though the act is nice.

But for me, the real delight, is their hot food and coffee offerings. It's become our weekend breakfast/brunch haunt. The breakfast sandwich is delicious and after a small request, they agreed to sub the chorizo for avocado to make it vegetarian. I always appreciate this flexibility from the staff. The star of the show however is their breakfast wrap with the zhoug sauce. Made to order freshly scrambled eggs, a crispy hash brown, that delicious green sauce and you're in taste bud heaven. Of course, I cannot forget about their coffee. Mad respect for anyone that makes in house syrups and does not use that fake bottled stuff. And the coffee is strong but smooth too. We also tried the matcha strawberry latte with the fresh strawberry syrup (it's a bit more jammy than I prefer and so not the easiest to mix) but tasty nevertheless. This is a great addition to the neighborhood and might I add, we're happy they're here.
