Was referred to Mike to install our electrical for a new hot tub. He came out, did a site…read moreinspection and was very thorough in his explanation of what was needed and the work he needed to do. He also did a load calculation as part of the site inspection which the city inspector needed to see as part of the permit process so was thankful for his foresigh! The interior work was done ahead of the delivery and you would never know they ran anything new it was that well done. The day our hot tub arrived, it was a very quick connection and he did a great job to hide the cable as best he could given the location of the tub on the pad and the options for drilling into the tub to run the wire. Overall, we are extremely happy with the service and the quote was very fair based on the other quotes we got. What made us decide on dealing with Mike is his personal approach and his fantastic communication and timely follow up. I would highly recommend Mike for any of your electrical needs.

Fast forward 8 days later Supreme called me to ask if I still wanted to transfer over to Supreme. They FORGOT they were already here! Not the kind of organization you probably want from your security company.

Not impressed - the sequence of incompetence has been astounding…read more Had a full home security system put in my home by Supreme. This is not a cheap endeavour (especially considering the 3 year contractual commitment you must make which seems market standard in the industry based on my research) so had diligenced various security firms. I read a lot of negative things re the "big boys" (ie. Telus, Liberty, Vivint, ADT, etc) so I focused on smaller, local firms hoping for a more honest and reliable service. I told Supreme these very concerns at the onset and they said all the right things. I was naive - seems like you get the same problems but they don't seem competent to resolve them (maybe it's the same at the big firms too). Issues from day 1. System was installed in June late. 1st visit they sent a junior technician by himself but I sent him away as I did trust his competency to do the job solo (the next visit was 2 technicians who were here from 9am-5pm so imagine what this lone new guy would have done). They also realised they made errors in the original quote as more items needed to be changed and they did not have all the eqt we agreed to (tho to their credit they did not increase my costs for the additional eqt they missed in their quote). After the installation, parts of the home security system did not work. To me, that is not a success. They have already come back to try to fix but items are still not working. Then they started mentioning extra charges for visits. At this point, I was annoyed and angry. As I am travelling my wife has been dealing with them and is not happy with them (OR ME). She warned me not to use such a small and unknown company for something so important as our home security and safety. She just shakes her head when she looks at the non-functioning security camera and panel. Attempt/visit nu4 is next but I have low expectations now. The owner has reached out to me and is apologetic which I appreciate however he does not seem to have the full details from his staff which isn't confidence-inspiring. I will be posting timely updates to see if they actually care or are just like the big security firms and I end up stuck with a super expensive 3 year contract of non-working security devices. Update as of July 12 2023: another security panel is no longer working.

I had the guys from 247 Electric come out to do a few things. I honestly was unsure of what to…read morethink because I've had a few other contractors out to my house and being a Women I've always felt a little out of my realm. I originally had just requested a quote for a Tesla charger install. I know they were certified with Tesla and they came highly recommended from a friend and they also are highly rated on other review sites so I thought it was worth a shot. The lady on the phone was extremely helpful and also very nice! Booking was convenient and easy. I had Shane come out to give the quote he was super nice and extremely knowledgeable about what I needed and didn't need. He explained I wasn't able to get the largest charger Tesla has unless I was willing to spend more money on doing a whole bunch of work to get more power to my house. I think for me what I appreciated the most is his questions of what my expectations were of charging my car and also my long term goals of my house. This was important for me because I have a 5 year goal to move to a bigger more forever home and he explained to me that putting a bunch of money into getting more power might not be the best investment of my money. I did receive a few other quotes but after dealing with Shane I felt most comfortable with him and 247 Electric and felt he wanted to help and offered the best suggestions and seemed like he knew the most about how and what actually had to be done. I booked him in and dealing with there office was just as easy as the first time and they had all my information and knew exactly how long it was going to take. Shane had suggested not to take the day off to watch them work so I let them in and left for most of the day. Work was done exactly as promised and no surprises at the end. I also had the inspector come out to inspect the work which he didn't seemed to concerned with anything and was in and out in no time. The day of the actual work I did come home before they were done. Shane had another guy with him who was also friendly. I asked him about lights in my kitchen and he suggested some ideas and different things I could do. I decided on Pot lights, which they were also able to do right while they were there. I was beyond amazed with the lights and what it did to my kitchen. I know the guys seemed more excited about the car but I was just blown away with how easy they made it seem to put lights were I thought was not possible! The whole experience was just awesome! Great guys, great company. I felt the price was reasonable for all the work that was done. I will definitely be referring them to my friends and family. I'm also excited to be the first one to give them a review on yelp! Great job Shane thanks again so much for all your hard work.
