The portions are humongous, service is quick and friendly and I can't remember any other time I wanted to lick fingers after having a meal!! I will definitely be back! Last night I finally went there with a friend. We went in on a Saturday night on the off chance there was a free table. The restaurant was obviously busy but they accommodated us. We were shown to our table, presented with menus and our drinks order was taken. We both ordered a Karisik, which has a mixture of chicken, lamb chops, Sis and Adana. When it arrived it looked amazing. It also came with some bread and a side salad which was delicious in itself. The meat was cooked to perfection and every mouthful was amazing. Even the rice was perfectly cooked and delicious. The toilets are small. The ladies toilet is a single disabled toilet and the men's toilet is a single toilet. The toilet was clean, tidy, and had a variety of toiletries to use. The only negative thing I can say is that the waiter didn't come over after our meals were served to check that everything was OK, but the restaurant was full to capacity so we can forgive that. This was the nicest kebab type dish I have ever had and the best restaurant I have been to in a long time. I will definitely be going back.

I was very hungry from traveling all day seeing the Beatles sites so I ate it anyway, but it was very mediocre. It tasted like Chuck E. Cheese pizza quite frankly, my brother got the americana pizza. It had pepperoni on it. He said it tasted junk but that wasn't the end of the line my other brother got the vegetarian pizza he described it as frozen. He didn't like the pizza because it tasted too dehydrated. It did not have wet sauce. The pizza stayed completely intact. If you held it completely upside down, the toppings were like glued on, and they didn't really have a particular taste. Everything just kind of tasted extra chewy, but without any sort of spice, we tried the different sauces in order to make it taste a bit better and I have to say that adding the tomato sauce on top did help to Live in it a bit, but it really still fell short of something worth paying for it to sit down restaurant. My mother got lamb kebab. She described it as good and it was all right so nothing really crazy if you wanna get a bite I think you should go somewhere else personally but I hope you enjoyed my review. Cheers!

Everything was so flavorful without being too spicy -- just perfect. We started with Hummus topped with Minced Meat, because you really can't go wrong with hummus. It was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. They served a fresh, vibrant salad alongside -- the perfect combination. Next, we had Sarma Chicken -- tender chicken wrapped in a tortilla with cheese, topped with yogurt gravy and their special ingredient (which I'm convinced was roasted aubergine). That smoky touch made the dish unforgettable. Such an amazing combo -- hearty, satisfying, and so well-balanced. Portion sizes were generous -- honestly enough for 3-4 people, especially if you're light eaters like us. The ambience was just as impressive -- beautiful furniture, plenty of sunlight, and a calm, cozy vibe that made the experience even better. The staff was super friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu and helping us make the right choices. Service was fast too, which made the whole experience even better Overall, it's a 5-star experience for me -- from the food to the atmosphere. Can't wait to go back and try more.

The interiors are cool and clean with a more minimalist feel than the usual trellises and vines and pottery that you're accustomed to. The atmosphere here would suit a place in the city centre rather than suburbia - the staff are friendly and efficient, the music evocative but not overpowering and the general feeling is that you can have an authentic Greek experience without someone smashing your plates. The food is amazing - I'm a big fan of Mediterranean flavours and after spending some time living in Cyprus I'm an even bigger fan of Greek and Turkish tastes. For meat lovers, the Keftedes meatballs is a good place to start. Lefteris' house special Ouzo Chicken is also something not to be missed, although I'm a fan of the traditional Mousaka , Kleftiko and Stifado. If you're a veggie, you can't go wrong with the Houmous, Tzatziki and Tahini dips to start, and then there's veggie Mousaka or my favourite, Dolmades (stuffed vine leaves) which are delish. Prices are reasonable - you're looking at around £14 for a main - and if you're a fan of all things Greek, this is somewhere you must try.

The music and the decor of the restaurant will make you feel like you're back on your holidays. The food is great with a wide range of meals no matter what sort of thing you're into - there is plenty to choose from, meat, fish or veggie. The restaurant has had a makeover not too long ago, which has proved to be a part of Lefteris' success along Allerton Road, as it now has the look that you seem to need to make it down this popular stretch. My main downfall is the fact that they only accept cash - not ideal when you are large party dining out.

A sign of things to come : not that much Seated in a small window booth overlooking the beautiful view of wilko. There is a menu online and it shows one price then another on the actual menu in the venue. They were off by a few pounds ! Anyway staff seemed relatively attentive when they weren't busy cleaning cutlery that had already been clean or pacing the laminate. The style of service felt to me that this was a relatively new venture as they had a cloud of staff appear throughout us eating to ask the usual questions ( is everything ok etc) . Just pick one serving staff and stick to your table The menu showed us a Friday and Saturday night set meal so we opted for that considering the price would have been higher ordering normally Starters of falafel and hummus was very nice and the bread was excellent ! But when it came to the main for the price you pay 1) you expect a sauce nf not to have to pay and extra £5 for two sauces. 2) it not to be thrown on the plate with rice all under the edge of the plate 3) it be on a HOT plate - basics really and finally 4) the food to be served together so when we ordered our mains and they arrived. Unbeknown to us we got a small side salad with BBQ onions but these were served about 6/7 minutes after our meals had arrived The meat and rice were nice but the Adana pictured was very greasy and felt like needed longer cooking All in all I rate this place as a 2.5 Points ; Price to high Cold plates Need a consensus of who serves who! It is always busy whenever I walk past and I guess its because of the simple, no-frills attitude of the place. Although not quite a 'greasy spoon' cafe, it operates along the same premise: big cups of tea, hearty breakfasts served all day and a solid menu made up of chip butties and jacket potatoes. You could probably eat for two for less than a tenner as well, which is always worthwhile in my book. Those of you who are avid readers of my reviews will recall the Italian Bistro I worked in where I was sent down the road to Hardman Pizza every time someone ordered a pizza - this is what the Bistro has become. Having worked in the grease-encrusted kitchen for a while I was a bit cautious to eat anything produced in the same place, however I was happy to find out that the old bistro was gutted and all new stuff brought in for Quick Chef, so there are no worries about cleanliness any more. PS, if you ever did eat in the Italian Bistro, please disregard anything I've said about the hygiene. It was lovely. Honest.

There seems little to add to what Rebecca has said already but to reiterate that this is the ideal location for mopping the morning after whilst also emphasizing that the coffee here is genuinely some of the best that I've tasted - a rich, dark roast and for a tiny fraction of the cost of a mug from Costa or Starbucks. Really brilliant. A lot of people will tell you that the Magnet next door does the best hangover breakfast in Liverpool but I have to confess that I much, much prefer the fry up at this unassuming little place.
