But they tend to sort out your problems even if you have to queue for some time and then take an age to get it sorted (these things are always more complex than you'd believe possible!). This place is one of the newer designs in the chain so it's really smart inside and the stock seems to be pretty plentiful.

The manager sneered at him and said 'they're ALL good deals pal' in front of me and other customers - really rude. The Carphone bloke had his badge on and everything and wasn't trying to spy or anything - he was quite friendly and simply looking at the competition but the P4U guy wasn't polite at all. Then when I was tried to ask about pre-pay phones the same manager just went on about contracts even though I was asking for my 10 year old daughter who tops up her phone with £10 maybe twice a year. He just didn't want to sell me a prepay phone, simple as that. Hard-selling puts me off and I won't go back

Nightmare scenario happened! My super frayed Macbook cable reached the end of its life yesterday…read moremorning and with trying everything from taping to putting heavy books on the cable nothing would fix it, with the power levels on my laptop dropping by the minute! A quick trip out to Harrogate got me the required cable from a very helpful chap - in fact everyone at this store selling new and reconditioned apple products plus other electronics seemed to be happy to help with all customers.
