I preface this by saying I have never, ever, EVER written a review like this before. I normally…read morewould just quietly hire someone else next time, even though the money I spent for this cleaning was a lot for me. I am on a very tight budget and had to save for this cleaning, because I have a spine injury and chronic pain that makes it difficult for me to clean my apartment easily, as it limits mobility. I also have asthma and dust related allergies (so does my cat). Deep cleanings aren't a luxury for me, but necessary, so I budget my money to pay well. I may be poor, but I know cleaners work hard and my being poor does not give me the right to rip off other people. Daniela would do well to learn that lesson. Backstory: I have used Daniela's services before. The first time, she charged 200 dollars for an EXCELLENT cleaning. I first found her on Handy and I was happy to get her card to pay her directly, as generally I prefer to pay cleaning workers directly so that they get the money without an external company getting a cut. She did an excellent job and my cat and I could breathe without dust. So, I trusted her to hire her again on 11/3/2025. She asked if I could pay her half of the 200 dollar fee on CashApp and the rest after the job was done. Fine with me! When she arrived, she asked for the rest before starting to clean. Again, I had worked with her before, so I saw no reason not to trust her again. I was working at home on my computer that morning and not watching her, so while I did think it was odd that she left after like 2 hours (it's a small apartment, but there WAS a lot of dust built up) and even odder that she bolted out the door quickly when she was done, I didn't think much of it bc I assumed she probably just had another client or something. Only after I took my work break I saw that everything I REALLY needed for my health was not clean. I know from our previous appointments that she was aware of my situation and what I needed (I have screenshots of our first itinerary on Handy from our first job and I had told her this all again before). There is still dust and grime (see photos) on parts of my apartment that are most difficult for me to reach. My cat's litterbox is somehow spilled and while I did NOT expect her to clean the litter box, at all, she could have at least swept up the splilled litter. See also photos below. Before ANYTHING else, I messaged her directly. I WANTED to hear her "side" to work things out because I WANT to have a reliable person to hire and HOPED we could come to an agreement. I am upset due to the fact I can't afford another cleaner now and we really need one, but I polite when expressing disappointment, did not attack her personally or even her work. I did remind her of our past agreements (what work she does for the pay) and my condition to clarify I'm not just "being a Karen" (even though instructions matter even if I was healthy). I got a rude text saying "stop bothering her" and "I hope you get better and think about who you are talking to and who you are saying it to." Putting aside that one does not "get better" from a lifelong disability, her response told me that whether or not she planned a scam (though she did ask for payment prior to letting me see that job), she was hasty and careless about the work even knowing the health issues of the client and was condescending and rude to ME when I expressed reasonable concerns. I certainly do not need to be told "I hope you get better and think about who you write to and what you write" when I think I can see pretty clearly who I am writing towards and I didtn't just remind her of my injury (which I mentioned a few times WHILE she was here) as a sob story. I do not appreciate being spoken to like a child. Her response confirmed that there was no road towards negotiation, or even an explanation or apology, leaving me with no choice but to file disputes with my bank and a fraud claim with CashApp, which were my only options. This could take 10 days to weeks in which I don't know if I afford an actual cleaning and I need all the money I have. Also, earlier that day, she told me it was "company policy" for me to pay her in advance. She runs her own business/freelance, and did not ask last time, but I thought it was a Google Translate error and I did not find the request unreasonable. Now, I realize that was a lie. I feel like Daniela took advantage of my trust. It kills me to write this review. The jobs of people like Daniela are HARD and they are HARD WORKING people. Our society would not survive without the work that they do. I respect all workers, especially since I rely on them. It is why I budget and pay well even though I am not able to "afford it" often. But my struggles do justify taking advantage of other people who may be also struggling. The same goes for her, too. .

Daniela is an absolute champ even super unreasonable jobs she'll knock out but she's worth every…read morepennies worth of an upcharge she asks for... Would go with again.

I notice that the Owner Jack is a little Too laid back and not as vocal as I believe he should be? I witnessed in several Situations, when it comes to Females this company is way more forgiving, understanding, and Helpful than males. I don't know is it because All the Management and Top Spot here are ran by females or what? But when it comes to giving hours, time off, etc. the women workers always came First? I even had an Account Snatched from me, the Only guy and I shared it with another female, but the Manager claimed this account had too many complaints so they decided to Snatch my account and replaced it with two Females of course, but I felt they should've Helped found me the right partner, and now I don't have an account and when the Manager post hours, most of the time She Usually tell me I already gave hours to Her or her? I'm Not comfortable here Anymore and I believe they want me to quit so They gonna low ball my hours and give hours to most the Females workers until I be forced to resign, so they want have to lay me off or Fire me to look good and secure Not giving Unemployment? All the Leads are ladies, Supervisors, Dispatch, Managers, HR, no dudes have a Voice here and I believe the women working here observed All the Special treatment and Favoritism that Females get here at Office Pride get, so it makes them act a little arrogant, Cocky, and sometimes rude or disrespectful. This company in my opinion is Sexist, dishonest, unequal, Impartial, a little racist and Definitely Not a Fair company So I do Not recommend No Males to work at this company! But if you're a female then you're Safe and Protected here at good old Office Pride. When I find a better gig I'm out of here! and trust me I have Nothing to gain by lying on this company.
