Over 20 years ago I attended the senior PGA Tour event that was hosted here I had forgotten how beautiful it is. The course is under new ownership, and somewhat recent years and lots of money has been invested in the entire course and golf club. Beautiful country club, restaurant, golf facilities, and course. I think I'm gonna get to play it again soon. A shot of 77 blind with four 3 putts. I had a great day and our host. Greg is an incredible guy and great golfer himself.

Recently I played both courses, having not done so since well before current ownership. That said: The good- The clubhouse and renovations are great. The new back range facilities awesome. Wish we had them back when. Food service good. Staff were polite but definitely not cheerful. The not good at all - the course conditions. Albeit in transition to Bermuda, the fairways were horrible. Lakeside greens playable while Creekside not really. Bunker sand in good shape but raggedy ass. Tree removal helped in some spots but was excessive IMHO. Pace of play fine. Attention to detail totally gone from when Randy was greenskeeper. Horrid - valet removal. No CADDIES? Seriously? Beverage cart removal. Why??? New rules to tee off on #1. New rules to make a time. The exclusivity is gone. I'm grateful to have had the chance to revisit. I hope things improve. There was no one around in a Saturday. Sad.

If you like to go to the driving range, just like hitting golf or just want to try something…read moredifferent top golf is for you. It's a lot of in but not cheap. You do have a dedicated server for your bay. The last time I went through I felt our server was never around when I needed her. We order the pretzel bites and the new app Bbq twisted potatoes. I was really looking forward to the new app but it was really a let down. The presentation was cool but it was lacking bbq sauce and cheese. Just a lot of fries. The pretzels bites came out warm but after the cheese cools down it's like hmm. This place is an experience overall but not sure I would go for the food.

The servers kept the bar furnished with drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The food was amazing! We had two bars of food stacked. They cooked the most tenderized beef I have ever tasted! The chicken was juicy and tender as well. The vegetables, potatoes, and desserts all complimented each other. The space we utilized was impeccable! We were able to eat, dance and play all in one evening. There is plenty of parking spaces. Also, they have restrooms for multiple customers and single rooms. They have three levels to play golf. We were on the second level. I really enjoyed my first visit and plan to return again.

This is a fabulous venue for an outdoor wedding. My daughter had her wedding here in October and…read moreit was lovely. Before the wedding my daughter worked out all of the details with Amelia, the TPC event coordinator.. About four or five months before the wedding; the bride, groom, and both mothers met for a tasting so that we could choose the menu for the day. We were given a few appetizers, and a few entrées to sample family style. Everything was very good, and we narrowed it down to 3 main dinner options. One of the things we really liked about this venue is that they have a bridal suite upstairs where the bridal party and both mothers could get ready. It was a nice space with lots of room for hair, makeup, and changing. There was a small patio overlooking the parking where we could watch as guests arrived. There was a parlor downstairs with a pool table and flatscreen TVs where the groom, groomsmen, and dads could hang out and relax before the ceremony. The clubhouse itself is full of southern charm with its majestic white columned exterior and red tile roof. The back view is just as attractive as the front with its well manicured lawn that over looks a lake and several fancy estate homes. There is also a wide patio that overlooks the back lawn which was perfect for our cocktail reception and then later became a cigar bar. Inside is very spacious. There is a foyer with a spiral staircase where we displayed photographs and served champagne while the guests were starting to arrive. We had about 150 guests and there was plenty of room for tables, 2 bars, and a spacious dance floor in the ballroom. TPC Sugarloaf really lends itself to weddings because of its size and its beauty; inside and out. There are so many great spots for wedding photos. It is a great option if you are looking for an elegant setting and Amelia and her staff are ready to assist with every detail.

Thats when the first bus leaves. We have not waited to leave or go head back any of the days busses have been available. We have walked the course each day. There are restrooms and concession stands throughout. The course is very elite and high end homes throughout.
