Delivery was timely as well, but again my items arrived scratched up and not in the shape they left my house. Also they did not lay down any pads or rugs during the move and this cost me cleaning costs at my apartment. I distinctly remember the person I spoke to on the phone on more than one occasion saying, at the end of the move my quoted price would probably be lower than higher. Fast forward to the final bill ~$600 more. So lesson learned, don't take anyone on their word, apparently it doesn't hold up. Overall it was an ok experience, I've had much worse but there were things they should work on... quote fluctuations

Not sure if this was Anderson or Atlas. This was a move accross the country. They estimated 9240 lbs. When they loaded, the washer, dryer and a complete living room set were not to be moved and excluded from the original estimate as were some other stuff. After loading, the driver estimated a little over 8 thousand pounds. The local waste station weigh ticket showed exactly 9240 lbs. That seemed too coincidental. When we unloaded, the people hired to help unload indicated that it was just over 8k lbs. I wondered if this was just luck or if it was because the move was prepaid by my employer. It may seem like it was not my money, however, that meant less in the budget to cover other costs. I sent Atlas (that's where the check went) a note, recived no response. I appreciated the professionalism but this last part was questionable. Google it, the reviews for Atlas are a little more condemning.

When Dave picked up the rug, he stated that he could guarantee that the stains and odor would come out. At this time I was never given a timeline of how long the cleaning would take. I will be honest, I've never had this service done so I was not even sure how long it would take. After nearly 2 months I decided to call just to check on the rug and see if they could give me a timeline. I received the rug on April 11th and Dave explained that some of the staining on the back of the rug didn't come out -which I was fine with. However, he said the smell was completely gone. When we unrolled the rug in our house we could almost immediately smell urine/ammonia. I called chemdry on 4/13 and told them the smell was not completely gone. The person that I talked to said that she would have Dave contact me to set up a time to pick up the rug and try to clean it again. I never heard from anyone, so by 4/22 I decided to call back and ask for a refund. The person who I talked to said she will have the owner contact me right away. It is now 5/14 and I have yet to receive a phone call. I am a very reasonable and understanding person and I completely understand that possibly there are other issues that I as the customer cannot see. But when a customer is not happy with their service, the business should communicate with them and do their best to make it right.
