    We have been going to Locust Fork Animal Clinic ever since they have opened. Today we had the worst…read moreexperience you could possibly think of with a personal owned business. Our dog was scheduled to have surgery this morning. We was asked to be there at 8am. This surgery was previously tried a few weeks back but our dog's anxiety and heart rate caused her not to be able to do it. Michelle McDonald told my grandmother we could try again but my Nana could go back and be with her until the surgery actually started. Her exact words "I normally don't allow my clients to do this, but we can under your circumstances". Today we get there at 7:40am before they even open. The staff she had up front was acting like that was never discussed which is a lie. It was several different times. One of the ladies acted like she went to talk to the vet about it and came back up to the other lady at the desk and said something to her. About 15 minutes later the older lady says "There was a note left for you yesterday, that says you are not to go back"... that was a lie. They just wrote it to make us feel like it was noted that we couldn't. To the bigger picture...... that was the last we heard from anyone really til about 3 hours later. We had 3 different staff tell us 3 different times in between this conversation our dog would be next on the surgery list. Even the vet herself said she was the second dog to my grandmother... After about 4 dogs had went back and 2 hours later we was getting concerned why she wasn't called back. My grandmother is on oxygen and it was running extremely low because of how long we have been waiting. Around 10:30am I finally walked up to the receptionist, kindly ask when will be called backed because my Nanas oxygen is running low. Not even 5 minutes later Michelle Mcdonald, comes out bends down in my face and ask me if there was a problem. I kindly answer " No ma'am we was just wondering when we will be called back because we have been told we are next several times" she then gets a little closer to my face screams and says "WELL YOU ARE REALLY FCKING PISSIN ME OFF". I was in total shock. She did this in front of the whole lobby. She was making false accusations, saying we was being mean to her when I didn't even speak with her once, and I was very kind to her receptionist, she was making us sound very stupid like we didn't understand anything she was saying, while still vulgarly speaking and cussing at us. She was explaining how stressed out she was, so my grandmother kindly responded with "I understand you are stressed so if that's the case, I really would prefer you not to do the surgery today" Michelle Mcdonald's response was "To be honest, I really didn't want to do her surgery in the first place". That shows her slack of empathy for animals. She doesn't care about her customers or her animals. So unprofessional the way she was cussing and speaking at us in front of the entire lobby. It was humiliating. I have never seen a business speak to their clients the way we was spoke to today. Cussed at, screamed at, humiliated, lied to, acting like actions was made that was not (she claimed someone came out to call us back which was not true) and made us sound like we didn't know what was going on and delusional. This was all because we wanted to know how much longer it was going to be because my Nanas oxygen was running. So unless you want a short-tempered very disrespectful vet. I would not go to Michelle Mcdonald at Locust Fork Animal Clinic. Most unprofessional business owner I have ever seen in my life!!! You do not speak to customers that way!!!!! I'm glad others have had positive experiences, and I wish mine had been the same. I've trusted this vet before too, but what happened today was serious enough that I felt it was important to share. I'm not trying to stir drama--just hoping my experience helps others make informed choices.
