Working amicably with the other party was the true goal, but at points the process and dealings became treacherous. Mr. Schiefer handled me and my case with great care, attention to detail, concern and professionalism. Where I thought we would end up at a stalemate, Mr. Schiefer reassured me all would end up "OK." As in any legal case there are sure to be bumps in the road (there were with mine, to be sure), but Mr. Schiefer guided me through the process well and in the end, he was right, it all worked out "OK." What could have been a year-long process (or longer) took only months. I truly appreciate his help through this tough time and would recommend him to anyone facing the same case I did. I've since returned to Ellsworth to make a few necessary adjustments since the completion of the divorce. Mr. Schiefer continues to be my guiding legal advisor and has been a great help in maneuvering through a few things. You would be hard pressed to find a more compassionate and competent family lawyer than Spencer Schiefer and the amazing team at Ellsworth.
