I had trouble sleeping at night.My cellphone was away,The TV was turned off yet i still had trouble sleeping.This has been going on for weeks and it was so frustrating.I would always be tired and my sleeping schedule was really off track.I wanted to get checked to see if i had any problems.I went to find a doctor near my area and found Dr Pineles on zocdoc.I saw that he treated people with sleeping problems and i decided to check him out.I set up my appointment and he accepted my insurance which was cool.I went to his office,Which was a couple of blocks away.I was greeted by staff and then i was seated.I waited like 10 minutes to be seen and then i was shown into the back.I met with doctor Pineles in his office and he was really polite.He started to ask me about what was going on in the night.I explained to him how during nights everything would be off and i still couldn't sleep.He asked me how my personal life was.If i was going through any stress in my life and i told him yes,Family related issues and college was getting tough.He explained that stress can be a result of having trouble sleeping.That if i think about what is going on it'll keep me up at night.Dr Pineles said that i might be experiencing short term insomnia,I might be experiencing this because of something going on in my life.He told me some at home remedies to help with my insomnia.His recommendations were to avoid using any technology an hour before going to bed,Do physical activities,Make sure i'm comfortable and that my sleeping environment is comfortable and too wake up and try to sleep on certain times.I took his advice and i will say it somewhat helped me,I stopped using technology an hour before sleep and i don't think about the problems that are going on in my life during the night.I have gotten more hours of sleep and little by little i have improved my sleeping schedule.I am getting back on track,It has been a week and a half and i have been able to get 3-4 more hours of sleep.Dr Pineles and his staff were polite to me and very helpful.He made me feel welcomed for my first time.I will come back to this doctor for any sleeping problems and i would recommend the same for anyone else. read more

I went to see Dr pineles for a bad cough,He has a office in my area and I decided to see what he did and too see if he had good reviews and to see what other people had to say about him.His reviews on google were good and on yelp they aren't the best.I didn't know if he was good or if he was bad so I decided to go see him for myself.I set up my appointment to get a pulmonary consultation.When I arrived I was greeted in a friendly way.I signed my name while they asked me if I was new and all that.It was going great so far.I waited a pretty long time which I was okay with I have pretty good patience.The doctor seemed pretty busy he was all over the place asking for stuff that isn't my business.I then was called to see him and he seemed like an okay guy,He was really professional and well spoken.He asked me questions about my symptoms and basic questions you would be asked to answer in a medical office.They did some test on me which went well thanks to some assistants who were really nice to me and made sure that the test went right.The test did go right and everything went well.I was able to get some medication for my sickness and I got my test results.And everything went well in my visit.I have no complaints other than the wait time.Other than that he was really polite and knowledgeable enough to help me.He staff was great and nice,His facility was clean and professional.He runs a good office. read more

This doctor is really good.He was extremely polite and i can't thank him enough for what he helped me with.He was able to help me with my bronchitis.I showed symptoms of bronchitis and i was in search for a pulmonologist.I have a friend that has seen this doctor and he recommended me to go see this doctor because he saw good results and he said that this doctor is legit.I went to this doctor expecting the same results my friend got.I came in and gave them my insurance and waited about 1 hour somewhere around there.They were pretty busy and i saw patients leave in a pretty quick time.Then it was finally my turn.I didn't know what to expect i have never been into one of these type of offices and it was really well maintained and simple.I went to see the doctor and he did what any normal doctor would do.He was able to help me slowly recover from bronchitis in about 2-3 weeks and i cannot thank this doctor enough.My breathing was not the same and i disliked that feeling so much.It was unbearable and i am glad that i found a helpful pulmonologist that genuinely cared for his patients.If it weren't for doctor pineles and his help i wouldn't have known and i am very appreciative for what he did read more

I found Doctor Edward Pineles on zocdoc and that is how i was able to schedule my appointment.They had some reasonable times so i went in at 6 pm.When i entered i signed my name on the chart in the front.They asked me a bunch of questions about my symptoms and then they asked me to sit down and wait for the doctor.I sat down for about 20 minutes.One of the ladies offered me tea,They were both very polite.Then after Doctor Pineles was done with his patient before me i was brought in.He greeted me and asked me a bunch of questions.He wanted to do a sleep study because he suspected that i had sleep apnea. After the sleep study i came back and i did have sleep apnea. He told me to change my lifestyle and exercise more,Avoid alcohol and smoking and alter my sleeping position. He was very kind and respectful. Very polite staff and i felt welcomed.Very great doctor and if you have any sleeping disorders i recommend to come see Dr Edward Pineles first. read more

I found my experience visiting Dr. Pineles to be horrible. I had an appointment for 10:30 and didn't get in to see him until a little after 12. Then I sat on the table while he darted in and out of the room. He was confused and disoriented and it didn't leave me feeling comfortable. Then he returned to tell me that he couldn't find my file and to blame someone else. Then he finally found it and instead of focusing on the reason i was there he proceeded to talk about issues unrelated. His nurse or assistant kept popping in and out interrupting us. Then she took one look at me and because of my weight assumed i was there for a lap band surgery. I was insulted and embarrassed and instead of saying something to her, he shrugged his shoulders and said that he wasn't my primary physician. Then he gave me medicine without fully explaining how it was supposed to help me. I left feeling like I had wasted my time. read more

This doctor treats my son for asthma and he is really good at what he doies. The staff is able to communicate effectively with me because they speak Spanish.It really helped me to better understand more of what they were saying and made our appointments successful.The doctor is always so kind to us and he is very polite and smart.I have came to Dr pineles for some of my health issues and its always has been a success. He has helped me recover always and he always treats my son and has helped him a-lot.He is very nice and always has the upmost respect for us and his staff is great too.He is only available Tuesday and Thursday in fresh meadows which could make appointments a little difficult but he is available from the morning till 8 which is perfect for us because i have enough time to work and take my son here or just get myself checked out. read more

This doctor was able to diagnose my bronchitis and other doctors/Pulmonologist i have seen have not been able to diagnose me correctly,It has been the wrong illness and nothing has changed until i saw doctor pineles.Dr pineles was able to diagnose me correctly and was able to tell mow how to recover.He told me to avoid alcohol and caffeine as it wouldn't be good for my mucus and that rest and drinking a-lot of fluids would make me feel a-lot better.He also told me that some over the counter remedies would help the pain and reduce the inflammation.He was extremely professional and one of the nurses was able to run a successful blood test on me and was nice during the whole appointment. read more

I walked in without appointment I didn't have to wait more than 10mins in the waiting room to be seen by Dr.Pineles,He is very professional and very compassionate with his patient's as I could tell by the way he treated me. This Doctor literally saved my life, I caught Covid-19 and I fell very ill, I went to the hospital and was in there for a few days. Post-covid I didn't feel the same, I was always having shortness of breath but I didn't feel it was too serious until I collapsed and that is when I searched for a pulmonary office that would help me and take my insurance.
