dr knight and staff made a specialist dental visit nobody looks forward to as best as it can get…read more friendly staff, easy to book with and is awesome at scheduling and communication. i went in for a routine crown lengthening procedure. dr knight prior to the procedure explained in detail what the procedure entailed and settled any worries i had prior to the visit. the guy has a thing with explaining things in a calm manner and communicates very clear throughout the prodecure. i sat in the chair with complete trust to the point that i couldve fallen asleep during the 45min procedure. left a happy camper and everything went as planned.

During the checkup, I asked about the condition of that root canal, and the new dentist praised the quality of the treatment I had received. Later, another dentist tried to redo the root canal on my pain-free tooth and encouraged me to continue treatment with him for other problematic teeth, but I lost trust. Now, facing new root canal issues, I truly hope to have the chance to see Dr. Huang again, even though he no longer works in my original city. I'm very grateful for their expertise and care!.

This office is very well organized and professional. Especially during the Covid. They are taking every precaution and safety measure. I feel like it's TOO SAFE haha. Every pen and countertop is wet from sanitizer. But it's necessary. I forgot what everyone here looks like because the masks never come off. But these are the things that make this office so great. 1. The level of ability and skill of the doctors that practice here. I dated a dentist from UCSF back in the day so I'm familiar with how their education and boards go. I'm sad Dr Jun is no longer practicing because he was so good at dentistry. He created a 9 unit bridge on my top row (teeth got knocked out from a fight when I was 18) and it's still perfect and strong to this day. 23 years. Most bridges only last 15 years max. But I've taken good care of it. So thankful for him doing this for me. Dr Jean is just as good and knowledgeable when it comes to dentistry. I've been seeing her since she took over the practice and I've had nothing but good sessions with her. She is very polite, patient, has a sense of humor and just very skilled at what she does. All my cleanings and fillings and overall care has been excellent. I hope she doesn't retire for a long time! I have seen my share of their assistants over the years but the ones they have now are super legit. They are professional and polite and work very well with Dr Jean. They have total chemistry. I currently live in South Orange County but I keep coming back here and commute because of Dr Jean and this office. 2. Technology they have. You have to sit in the chair to really grasp and appreciate how far dental technology has come over the years. The big screen TV's, the X-Rays and way they are done, camera pens, cleaning tools, etc...and they installed a vacuum (it's sits close to your mouth) to suck out the unseen bacterial air that comes out of your mouth and shoots it into a pipe that ejects it all to the roof outside. Like for real!? Amazing. 3. Billing. Dental work is so expensive it can be very hard with no insurance. There were periods in the past when I didn't have insurance and they were very fair with their prices when I had to pay cash out of pocket. This is a superb dental office. I highly recommend it!

She is always concerned about your comfort, and explains everything in detail. She's filled cavities, replaced a bridge, and installed crowns on regular teeth and implants. I'm a worry wart and often worry about issues with my gums and teeth, but but Dr. Cheng always fits me in quickly, does a thorough exam, and I always leave feeling much better. She is very competent and all of the work she has done looks great and has lasted for years!! Also, Janis is a wonderful dental hygienist, and Andi is super nice and always gets me in when needed.

My last dentist who shall go unnamed was a highly reviewed dentist in Daly City. However, yelp failed me in this situation. While his office was pretty, he rushed through every appointment with me and I ended up with terrible dental work that needed to get repaired. Not so with Dr. Cheng. She is an artist and perfectionist in every sense of the word. Dr. Cheng will not let me go home until my bite is perfect after a filling. Her works looks amazing and has stood the test of time, She is also incredibly gentle and does that cheek wiggle thing during the injection. I have never even winced during her painless injections. She will even call me at home to check and see how I am doing after a procedure. It's the little things like this that really really impress me about her. She truly cares about her patients and would never push unnecessary work on her patients. She is so genuine and honest and I truly cannot recommend her enough. Dr. Cheng also does great cosmetic dentistry. She does whitening as well as Invisalign braces. In fact, she did Invisalign for the same friend that referred me to her. His teeth now look amazing. Like I said she's an artist and your mouth is her canvas. The office is small but high tech. Parking is pretty accessible although it can get busy at Trader Joes. One of the perks of this office is that it's located in the Westlake shopping center. There's lots to do here after seeing the dentist.

I had a not-that-great experience with my wisdom teeth removal on my right side 5 years ago, so I…read morehave been postponing my left side's wisdom teeth removal for a long time. I finally decided to do it with Doctor Weng and I was pretty nervous about it. And everything turned out to be amazingly comfortable! Before the surgery, Doctor Weng had a review session with me and assured me that this will be an easy procedure and answered all of my questions. On the surgery day, I received some numbing rubs first from a very nice nurse so that when Doctor Weng gave me the local anesthesia shots, I almost felt nothing! After that, Doctor Weng pulled out the teeth on the top in a flash (maybe 1 sec only). Then he started to work on the lower one, which is more tricky as it is a bit tilted. I could feel pressure but it was not that uncomfortable. I can feel Doctor Weng was very skilled at this process and was doing everything very professionally and precisely. My jaw felt tired after a while and the nice nurse gave me a lot massage (no extra charge!). After 20-30 mins, that teeth was out too! Doctor Weng quickly stitched up and I was ready to leave! When I met my husband at the parking lot, he was surprised how fast it was. After the surgery, it was not that panful at all. I took maybe 2 pain killer on the first day and the second day, I did not need to take that any more. Doctor Weng also texted me to make sure if everything is okay. It was so minimally uncomfortable that I could just work the second day. On the revisit appointment, Doctor Weng told me everything is healing very nicely. I am so happy about this process. Now I wish I had two more teeth to pull (just kidding!!!)
