There are…read more2 floors to this store with adults on the ground floor & children's shoes on the first floor. Having the children's shoes on the first floor is a bit of a pain if you have young children in the pram but the staff will let you keep it downstairs or put it in the stockroom for you. Having said that they do have a great selection of shoes especially the children's shoes. If needed they can order you a particular shoe in your size. I have always found the staff in this store very helpful & friendly & I would visit this Clarks shoe store over other ones.

It's easily accessible via lift or escalator from the main street. As with lots of TKMaxx stores you have to do some rummaging around but it's well worth it- I've had some great bargains from there especially children's clothes. I find this store is usually quite tidy compared to others I've been in. There is sometimes a lack of staff which can lead to q's at the checkouts but it's not always like this. I love their range of cushions & kitchen goods & their silicone bakeware if excellent value for money & really good quality. A good shop if you like designer name but don't like the designer price tags. Be prepared to rummage though!

As with lots of TKMaxx stores you have to do some rummaging around a bit to find your item and size but it's well worth it, I got some great bargains this week for the kids and a really nice ski coat all for £100 and came out with two bags. I love their range of household goods, curtains, towel, cushions & kitchen goods. A good shop if you like the designer names but don't like the designer price tags that goes with it. Well worth a visit.

Matalan in Stockport is hidden away behind the Peel Centre. You can get to it by either going down…read morethe side of Argos on the Peel Centre, or by walking down the side of Asda towards Newbridge Lane and turning left at the mini roundabout. It is a massive store with hundreds of lines of clothing for men, women and children. They also stock a good range of homewares and, bizzarely, a fancy dress/Birthdays section. The clothing is good quality and quite cheap, and they stock a good range of sizes. The staff are usually pleasant even thought they are always busy and there is always a queue at the checkout. The little coffee shop at the back is a nice place to stop for a quick hot drink, and the coffee is good.

The clothing is of a relatively good quality and price. The Stockport store is well laid out, it just sometimes gets busy at the weekend and there are not always enough tills being manned. Apart from that it is well worth a visit.
