They poked in my mouth and cause a cavity to become loose. I had to come back after dropping off my wife at work. I was upset and they didn't seem to show any sympathy. I tried to be reasonable and get my filling done but I couldn't help having a gut feeling about them. The way they spoke to me and received seemed off. I felt I was more of a profit to them than a patient. I made the conscious choice to walk out and receive proper help somewhere else. I've had numerous unreliable experiences with my previous dentists before, so I asked a family friend of mine to recommend me a dentist. I went to Dr. Liu to check up on my cavities, and from my experience, he was kind, attentive and thorough with his explanations. At first, the dental assistant took I think about 18 x-ray photos all around my teeth. Afterwards, Dr Liu checked all of my teeth in the treatment room, and communicated with his assistants as to which tooth required treatment. Dr. Liu, along, with the pictures the dental assistant had taken, explained to me the procedures he recommended, and why they may need to be done. I almost never write reviews, but I thought this warranted one. Both my parents and myself spent thousands at this dentist (we don't have dental insurance) to fix our teeth, which is understandable because going to the dentist without insurance is expensive. But my dad was experiencing a lot of pain after his procedures for over a week and went back to get it fixed, and they charged him an additional $20 for this. I was also experiencing pain after getting some cavities filled even after 3 weeks post-status. But now that I know I'll get charged to even just get it looked at, I'll have to just deal with the pain/sensitivity. I find it extraordinarily sad when people of health care treat their care as a cash grab first and patient care second. I get it, at the end of the day health care of any kind is still a business, but that shouldn't be the most important part. What kind of a dentist charges to fix a mistake they originally made ? Just for $20 as if the thousands we already spent wasn't enough? That's truly how you know your dental health is not what's important to them, your money is. read more

I've been going to Dr. Liu's office for almost 5 years now and I've always had a positive experience. Dr. Liu has wonderful bedside manner and he has always been very attentive to all of my dental needs. I get my routine cleaning here and I have gone through Invisalign here as well. The staff is caring and multilingual (English, Korean, Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese?)). The prices are reasonable as well. My whole family and I have been going to Dr. Liu for 5+ years now. My daughter 10, son 12, my husband and I have always appreciated the kind gentle care from Dr. Liu. We have had no problems whatsoever. The review below by Jay W. is SOOO wrong! Dr Liu has his education and credentials from USC/UCLA and can speak 3 different languages fluently. If you are Chinese speaking, Korean speaking or English speaking he can communicate with you. He's probably a lot more educated and intelligent than that bozo. I trust him completely with the pediatric care he gives to my kids and I've also had orthodontic care done with him. He's a highly respectful doctor. Wouldn't go to anyone else. read more

I did root canal and crown here last year and the crown wasn't placed properly so I got an infection in my root. I had to go to this root canal specialist and get a special treatment and after the treatment they said they could not guaranteed that they could save my tooth and might have my tooth extracted. It was 100% their fault that I got an infection in that tooth and they didn't want amit that. I didn't want to get further treatment here with Dr Liu so I went to diffrent dentist with more experience than Dr Liu. I wasted my time and money here!! Don't go to this dentist!!!!!!!! read more

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Liu for about 2 years now, and my only regret is that I didn't find him sooner! He is such a great dentist, I can honestly say that he is the best dentist my family and I have ever been seen by. He's very detailed with his work. Treatment visits from my wisdom teeth removals to my mother's fillings and my 4 year old brothers fills were absolutely PAIN FREE and TEAR FREE. His numbing technique is amazing.
