    A few days ago I deposited a check in my joint checking account. After giving the bank teller my…read moreID and a check that I had endorsed plus wrote for deposit only transaction was finished and receipt given to me. Didn't think anything of the transaction after that . A few Days later the person that sent me the check said the check was deposited in her account. I went online to see transaction and sure enough no deposit was made to my account. Had enough time to call bank and explain what was going on. Representative said they Get back to me and asked if my phone number was so and so. I said yes and she told me she get back when the problem was resolved. Today about 2:15 PM I called and Asked for this representative, And of course she is busy and told the other representative that she called me and left a long explanation message on my phone. No missed calls What so ever, and was told he call me back in a hour . Again received no call back to explain this problem of my deposit and two other transactions I've had problems with also. Don't know if it's human or computer problems American Savings are having at This time. I called again today at about 4;30 because didn't receive a call back by 3:30 that I was told I be receiving a call. Don't want to drop the name but was promised to be called by the end of today. Don't know what they are hiding and not disclose what happened. The money now is on hold for deposit but I wanted the explanation too. I guess they are hiding what goes on and don't want to talk to me. So now giving only one star. If the manager want to listen to the recording about the promise call back please go and listen to this problem that was probably swept under and no investigation was required or needed for what happened.

I dealt with some of the most awful customer service. (Laurie C & Nikki). First issue: changing my name. I mailed in my marriage license, as instructed was all I needed to do because I am on the mainland for school. When I called in to check on it, I had a new version of the instructions which required me to visit a branch. Why would I have mailed it, if it did nothing to help? Second issue: deposited a large check. Took 15 days to clear, but showed up on my rolling balance for my account. I couldn't figure out what my balance was and customer service kept defending it. Third issue: if you have an issue with customer service, there is no one else. You call the same small room of people and if they choose to ignore you it's. Fine. This is why people don't trust banks anymore
