She was three at the time and had just gone through a big move and left her nanny (who had been with us since birth) and preschool behind. She takes a long time to feel comfortable, but she adapted beautifully to BMP. Her teachers were warm, caring and attentive and being there really helped her transition to her new environment. I can't say enough wonderful things about this school and I am sad that it was such a short stay for us.

They spend a lot of time learning, playing, reading books to the children; they spend a lot of time outdoors. Everybody is involved in taking care of the kids: director, assistants, educators, cook(s)... everyone. The facility is very clean and full of different educational toys that they rotate or try to replace with other toys - whenever possible. The staff are very culturally-sensitive. Once you get in there for your informational session, you become sure that there is no better place for your child than La Garderie. Kids do not watch TV there, which makes me very happy. There is a large outdoor play area for your child(ren) and they have a gym in cases of extreme weather conditions. You get reports about your child's day on a daily basis. Our child is obviously happy at La Garderie, and my husband and I are more than happy about that!

After having experience with a poor daycare previously this one is by far one of the better ones…read more The staff especially makes all the difference because they actually care, are properly trained and really connect with the kids. The fact that you can enjoy watching your little one on the webcam all day is simply a bonus. The food and menu are great and the parents have access to the type of meals each day as well. The teachers don't hide anything and the supervisors are excellent people. They literally know all the names of the children from all the classes....that really says something about their involvement. My child isn't the most trusting or outgoing so it's SO nice to hear that she has favourite teachers, really connects with them and quite frankly sometimes doesn't want to come home with me. HA! The only negative thing I would have to say is the webcam quality. I had a lot of problems getting it to work, it doesn't work outside of explorer and the actual quality of the feed is not the best. You absolutely get the gist of what is going on and you can locate your child but the technology can be upgraded. I highly recommend this location in Milton. I suspect the other locations are run similarly as well and there are quite a few of them around the GTA so check out their website and go for a tour if you are looking for stress free daycare for your child!
