I received a letter from the IRS about missing info on my 2023 return and advising me that I owed them $18,000. I've been using TurboTax, they evidently don't ask for all the information necessary. I found Edward's number on Yelp, called him and set up an appointment. After dropping off all my information, and after he looked everything over, he redid my 2023 taxes and filed an amendment. He found I wasn't taking the losses I was entitled too and wound up owing the IRS zilch, nada, nothing. I, along with my adult children will be using Edward French in the future. I had a few complicated issues that I wasn't sure that Turbo Tax had correctly handled so I went to Mr. French. Wish I could give 0 stars. My husband and I reached out to Edward for our taxes and the return he provided was inaccurate and did not include many deductions we were owed. So we respectfully declined his services and told him we were going with a different accountant. Our new accountant saved us thousands. Edwards response? A spew of what I can only assume are drunk text messages. Unprofessional. Slow. Untrustworthy. As you can see in the screenshots we did not engage in his attempt to provoke us. What did he do next? Sent a fictitious $200 bill to collections. We never signed a contract with him! Now we have to go through a whole dispute process.
