So limit your cash spending for those needs only. Otherwise, I suggest use your credit cards at all time. You will save money on fees. Be mindful of any international credit card fees, and I don't recommend American Express as most merchants in Barcelona charges you, using AX. Use your Visa/MC instead. While we waited for our outgoing flight to depart, we browsed the stores and ate a meal. The Stamp store had a nice selection of souvenirs such as bull figurines, candies, decorated plates, t-shirts, and much more. Other stores sold clothing, accessories, books, toys, etcetera. Restaurants included international chains such as Burger King but also local ones such as Boldu, where we enjoyed cute and tasty donuts. Other resturants served tapas, sushi, chocolates, wines, coffees, etcetera. Overall, I think that this airport terminal had a decent number and variety of stores and restaurants to spend time while we waited for our flight.
