To my surprise the air conditioner stop functioning within two days of the inspection. So I did what any other home owner would do panic and call the realtor, however there was nothing she could do this was all in my hands now. Searching for affordable prices I ran into an add on a home improvement magazine, this company would finance and fix my system. I was excited but all this came with a large price about 6,000 dollars. To say the least they let me down. My daughter in law text me the home advisor website link to take a look. That's when I found the perfect company to fix my air conditioner. I called them on a Saturday and that same day they came to see my system Maurice was my technician he was excellent he let me know everything that was wrong with it. He explained that it was only one part that needed to be replaced good thing it was under warranty. The company ordered the part for me and on Wednesday they were at my home fixing the air conditioner. They only charged me for the labor, they stuck to their word on their estimate from the beginning. I'm very pleased with my air conditioner and I would definitely recommend them for their good service and honesty.  Thank you.

This is my second time using this company and I don't…read moreknow what happened between my first experience and this recent one but it's been a nightmare. A few days after the installation I came home from work and my socks were getting wet in the hall where the air handler is located. I open the door to the space where it is and notice that the drain was NOT installed and the water was just running down on the slab and seeping under the wall and under my wood flooring. The flooring has already started to warp. I contacted them and they sent a couple guys out to correct it. I asked about the flooring being covered by them and they told me they have no idea and I needed to contact the office. I did and to this day no response. After the correction of the non installed drain I thought it would be rectified however the 2nd team of tech installed the drain pipe running uphill so nothing was going into the outlet pipe in the slab and again the water was running out of the pan onto the floor. I am no HVAC tech but I ran the PVC drain pipe out the door of the air handler into a LOWE'S bucket that I have to dump out a few times a day. So to sum it all up I am out a couple thousand dollars on flooring so far and have a bucket in my hallway to keep from flooding my house again. Today I found out from the building code folks that a permit was never pulled when my HVAC was replaced and now the fine for no permit is on me. I would NOT recommend them from this experience and it's obvious that I'm not going to be reimbursed for their shoddy work and flooding my home TWICE. One VERY unhappy customer. Each time Eric showed up or took a call, he did so with respect, professionalism, and urgency. In my case it was due to a failed ac compressor, despite it being new. Short story long....watching Eric methodically trouble shoot, analyze, and act was impressive. Equipment comes in a box, but professionalism shows up in person! Every call informing system failures, Eric stopped what he was doing, cleared his calendar and made every effort to fix the issue. In my case the compressor was simply bad...and he replaced it for zero charge! Eric is the real deal, authentic, professional, and a consummate AC EXPERT! We live in Florida and early September is still very much in the throes of summer. So, you can…read moreimagine our distress and discomfort when our A/C died. We can't say it was sudden, since our unit was 20+ years old. We bought this house 13 years ago this week and had been having issues with it the last few years. We had the inside capacitor replaced a month ago, a cord had gotten unplugged inadvertently by our lawn guy, my husband had replaced the outside capacitor, we had the outside unit fan replaced, and then finally we had a leak that caused all the refrigerant to leak out and that is how we ended up with a dead A/C. We called our usual company whose representative is wonderful, friendly, personable but his company is expensive. When he gave us the quote for a new A/C my jaw hit the floor. I looked for financing but could not get the exact amount we needed, so I posted on social media to find a second opinion. Enter Eric from Florida Cooling Store. He was highly recommended by a close and long-term friend, so I knew he was someone we could trust. First, I checked out his website and was surprised and impressed that the prices of air conditioners were posted right there! Eric came the very next day (on a Saturday!) looked, and then quoted a price for a new A/C. His price saved us $3000+ compared to the quote from our usual company! He arrived five minutes earlier than he said, set to immediate work, and had us up and running by 2 PM! We spent four sweaty nights trying to sleep without A/C. Eric was our hero! The unit is working perfectly, and my house feels so incredibly comfortable. Eric is efficient, affordable, personable, and professional. I think we have a new A/C guy, and I will recommend him to everyone we meet!

My entire experience with Farrell's Plumbing was a comedy of errors…read more I hired Farrell's to assess my tankless gas water heater that quit working during Hurricane Irma. The guys called me and said they would arrive in 20 minutes. That gave me plenty of time to get home and put our dog, who doesn't care for strangers, away. When I arrived 10 minutes later, they were already there waiting for me. So I rushed to get inside and prepare, likely while already on the clock and being charged for the service call. Plumbers charge by the quarter hour... Fast-forward 45 minutes and 85 bucks later: the two men trudged through my home with muddy shoes, leaving tracks. One of them, sweating profusely, leaned on my washing machine and left behind large sweat smudges on the glass top for me to clean. WOW. Talk about disgusting and unprofessional. The final piece of this entire charade is Farrell himself, the business owner. Farrell and I spoke on the phone several times. He failed to phone me back after offering to get me a quote on a new water heater. This is exceptionally funny to me, seeing as it would present new business and a profit for him! On top of that, he was quite rude when I politely asked if his installation quote was negotiable, as I found it high. His comment was "well I could do it for free, but that isn't how business works." No kidding, bud. I'm very aware of how business works--and happily took mine elsewhere.

He stated I could " call a major ac repair company, pay their diagnostic fee, tell me what they find and I will repair that". I called Choice Warranty back and requested a new company to come out. They said that it would have to be Supreme Air for the second visit. Supreme Air told me they would be out today, Tuesday the 4th. He told my warranty company the same thing. They didn't offer to provide a temporary solution. I spoke to Erikka today who said they have portable ACs yet no one offered it over a week ago. Instead they took hundreds of dollars to put freon that didn't last very wrong as we had a leak. The house reached 87 degrees most days. We had to put our dog in a hotel because she couldn't stand the heat. We also have 5 minors in the house who had to live so uncomfortably for over a week. Back to 9/20 when my spouse spoke with Erikka who said they wanted to get the best to come out and assess/fix the situation. I found it odd that only 1 HVAC technician within the entire company was competent enough to do their job. Unfortunately, no one called so my spouse called again. This time, an agent came out and just added freon as a temporary fix (as stated above), again never offered the portable AC. We call in this past Saturday asking for some sort of solution as the heat was unbearable. We were told someone would call right back. We never received a call. Fast forward to today when Jimmy shows up and says we need a coil. Then goes to say he doesn't have one and it would be another 3-5 days. Jimmy went as far to say we can call other companies and they will all tell you we don't have coils in hand. My spouse and I were dumfounded by this statement. How are you a company that fixes ACs but not have the necessary parts!? Even worse is you were the initial company who installed the AC!! I call the office while Jimmy is of course waiting for payment and speak with Erikka who says they should have offered a portable AC. (She was the nicest person we spoke to from the company). I ask for a call back and Barry calls 5 hours later. I inform him and ask that we come to a reasonable solution for all of the mishaps and the overall disregard for our well being. He said no, and offered a 2 follow ups. Why would we want follow ups if you couldn't do the initial job in a timely manner (or at all in this instance)? I asked Barry to refund our money for the freon. I also asked for some sort of assistance paying my pet's hotel visit as it could have been avoided if they would have followed up in timely manner or offered the portable AC. Barry said no and basically told me my concerns are mere opinions. Your company needs to learn how to treat individuals like humans. Show empathy. You all got to go home to a cold house with a working AC. We suffered in our puddles of sweat for over a week in 92 degree weather. This was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered! Do yourselves a favor and stay far from this company. Jack Frost came today within two hours of Jimmy leaving and fixed the AC same day. Funny how the part "wasn't" available when Jimmy looked.
