Good is always good at Edo Japan, which is a place I'm a regular to. Today I took the shrimp and chicken yakisoba (with Udon noodles), as part of the bento box. I took two sides, which included two gyoza pieces and four California sushi roll pieces. The food was ordered for take out, as we got to the restaurant just before closing. Happy to find this open on the long weekend as I was looking forward to sushi! They seemed disorganized, and I had to point to the menu to help the cashier understand the Easi platter options. I chose the spicy beef & sea salt edamame as the 2 variables. Of interest, the cooks seemed to need to reference it too, so they must be a newer franchise, still learning the menu. I also ordered the beef & shrimp teriyaki meal, but I was so distracted by having to communicate the sushi order, that I forgot to request brown rice. At least they knew to ask me about how much sauce because I like a little less than what comes standard. They are making everything fresh & it seems to be a training opportunity. It appeared clean and I liked the location. Being on a road trip, it was on a highway frontage road, which was ideal. Update: reviewed while waiting for take out & grabbed the bag when ready without looking at what was inside. The shrimp were large and sauce was a bit heavy. Also, I received more than is typical with the Easi platter. Not only did I receive the edamame, but also avocado AND cucumber rolls. It was all tastey & I'm grateful for my good fortune! read more

We ordered take-out as we're hotel nomads traveling through Whitecourt. The chicken and beef rice bowl and sushi were great and their kids meal is awesome; comes with pocky and a beverage choice. Got plenty of soy sauce and utensils and the food was hot and yummy. read more

Clean great food. Except no change table in men's room. I couldn't change my infant. Had to send the wife.

15/10 amazing atmosphere. Friendly and they encourage engagement with customers. No divdivision for coworkers or feeling left out. I left with a smile on my face and a happy mind set that i belong to another amazing family.
