My husband and I had recently moved to the area and were looking for a new church to get involved with. We were immediately struck by the welcoming atmosphere of the Edmonds Adventist Church. This is a very active church. In the few weeks we've been attending so far, the church has hosted a Trunk-or-Treat event for the community, taken a retreat up to Rosario Beach, collected shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, and arranged a Thanksgiving-themed potluck that's open to the community (scheduled for this coming Saturday around 1pm in the church fellowship hall). There are a lot of young families in this church. The church hosts two childrens' groups on the weekends: Adventurers (ages 6-9) and Pathfinders (ages 10-15). They are also starting up a children's choir that is open to the community for ages 9-18 (younger students accepted if they have choir experience and/or have taken voice lessons). If you are looking for an active church family with lots of opportunities to be involved in service to your community, Edmonds Adventist Church is the family you've been looking for! read more
