The staff is helpful and friendly. They are very quick. I didn't have to wait forever. I highly recommend if you're looking for a new PCP.

I was taken by ambulance to INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital for a major heart attack, a "widow maker", where I coded while in the emergency room. The cardiologist did save my life with two stents, but that's the only saving grace for this hospital. A few hours after the event I asked one of the doctors what I could take instead of my arthritis meds, which were off the table now due to having to take blood thinners, and he said "just take more aspirin". If that was supposed to be a joke, it was not funny in the slightest. "More aspirin" is the last thing you'd want to take unless of course you'd like to bleed out internally. During that same event a nurse told me that the tiny off-white globs in my blood sample were cholesterol. Well, I'm pretty effing sure they're not or I'd be dead of stroked out and likely a vegetable or life support. Those "globs" were likely pieces of subcutaneous fat that were getting into the samples due to yet another poorly placed catheter. Rather than redo the poorly place catheter which caused the nurse to have to massage blood samples out of my arm (for the love of all things holy), she just continued to do the same thing that caused much pain and a massive hematoma (bruise). Just what one needs when on high doses of blood thinners. That's just the tip of the iceberg. I was under the Integris care umbrella of uncaring quacks for almost three years. Shame on me for not exiting the poisonous ecosystem earlier. Also, I filed a concern with Integris over 7 months ago and have yet to receive a response. In fact, the gentleman nurse I saw that day was very professional, kind, and personable. My one star review has nothing to do with the office person, the nurse, or the facility. It has to do with the PA I saw; Jennifer. I went in knowing that I tested positive to Covid that morning. Two days earlier, my husband went in to Access also knowing he tested positive for a Covid. He saw a different Pa. His person prescribed Paxlovid. When he took the med, he quickly showed signs of improvement. Both of us are over 60 and both of us overweight. Here is what my PA said "no, I will not prescribe Paxlovid. I think you will be just fine without it. It's not even fully approved by the FDA. It's emergency use only. And I don't think you need it". Ps: Jennifer, read recent approvals by the FDA. You are incorrect on that. What I would like Jennifer to know is that she doesn't know me at all. When I get a simple cold, it almost always turns into bronchitis. In fact, by that afternoon, my oxygen was in the upper 80's. Covid was wasting no time attacking my lungs. I did not give up and finally was able to reach a PA at my doctor's office. She said she thought I'd definitely respond well with Paxlovid and prescribed it. Three different medical personnel responded the same when I mentioned Jennifer saying no to Paxlovid. Their response, "why". I feel horrible for anyone going to Access Medical and receiving care for Covid from Jennifer. Save your money. Try elsewhere. And a final note is that as soon as I started a Paxlovid, there was a very clear difference. I still had the Covid symptoms but the breathing in particular improved. It was scary how fast Covid attacked my lungs. I'm sure Jennifer is a great PA in many ways, but my suggestion would be to get off her high horse and allow people to be helped by an FDA approved medication!

My daughter felt safe and heard, I could see it on her face. I didn't catch his name but a male nurse took my daughter's vitals and spoke to her every step of the way, making sure she wasn't scared before he did anything. The staff, which included attending Norman Davis MD, was thorough, friendly, and respectful. I've never had such a good visit at an ER before. And I've been here a couple times for different people in my family. We got there around 10-11pm and left around 1 am. I say for an ER that's pretty dang fast. My daughter was diagnosed and treated during that time. Even the admissions lady who takes the insurance and information down was kind and took the time to repeat things back to me and print out what I signed online so I could have copies. I know it's not a huge ask but usually someone would be annoyed, but she genuinely understood why I wanted them when I explained to her. The whole staff that I met last night was great. We will be returning here if we ever need an emergency room, and hope we get the same experience. :)
