The DRC has messed with my time and patience multiple times already because they keep changing up the documentation they need to be able to accept the fact that I have anxiety and need more time and even more help when it comes to certain subjects. They have made it physically impossible to get help and have made me cry as I walk out the door because the woman in charge of the DRC talk to you as if you're a child instead of a young adult trying to get proper help. On top of that, it took me coming in 4 more times for them to accept all of my transfer credits and my fasfa because they don't have proper protocol and always seem to blame technology or other schools, etc for they're mess ups. I just transferred here. It is absolutely ridiculous I have to deal with these unprofessional, belittling, shitty adults. Please look at all your options before deciding to go to this school.

However, we were assigned a replacement coach, Coach Hugh McAdam, who was excellent. It was like he was custom fit for my son. Both lightweight rowers and Hugh is an award winning rower. He helped us narrow down my son's choices by asking the right questions and he also contacted the coaches himself because he knew some of them from his career in rowing. We had a weekly call for an entire year and he kept my son accountable for the tasks he had to do to get recruited and visible. If you have a kid who needs that, NCSA will help. If you're not liking your experience with a coach, just ask for new one until you get the right fit. I guarantee you'll never get what you don't ask for. My son got a hefty athletic & merit scholarship and signed in February to a school that I know he's going to love. Thanks Coach Hugh McAdam!

They charge $3,000 for a membership just so people can use the website, while the parents have to do all the work. When I received the first call, it was a man trying to schedule an appointment to talk; he was very insistent and wouldn't let me get a word in, so I agreed just to find out what it was about. The next day, a woman called; she was aggressive and pushed me to take the call. When I told her I was already aware of the schedule, she got angry and hung up on me. When I received the call, the man started speaking; when I asked what it was all about, he told me I had to pay for a membership before he could tell me more. He said my son needed a nutritionist and a psychologist. I am a retired professional soccer player. Usually, when a recruiter speaks to players, they tell them which teams have openings; however, this company doesn't know if a player will actually be signed by a team. When I asked, I was told I had to pay for a membership to contact coaches myself--since the company only provides access to the website--and that no further information would be given until I paid for the membership. I asked if he knew anything about soccer; he claimed he played and had been recruited through this site, playing the same position as my son. When I asked what position that was, he asked me what position your son plays? I told him, and he replied that it was the same one. This person knew nothing about soccer. Then he told me that when my son turns 25, he could go see if he could turn professional; I told him that was too old to try to become a professional--there's a professional soccer team two hours away, and he could go to the Portland Timbers academy. He kept insisting that it was better to go with his company because there were more opportunities. This person wouldn't let me speak; whenever he asked me something, he wouldn't let me answer, and he ignored almost everything I said. This company isn't really what it claims to be.

Almost brand new, very beautiful grounds right near the ocean, it might even be on the ocean but there is so much landscaping I am not sure, I think it is. Beautiful campus, easy to get in and out. The professors are laid back and the staff was cordial. I learned a lot here. Parking is super close and I felt safe taking night classes. It was great to leave class at 10 at night and feel a warm ocean breeze accompany me to my vehicle. Great fitness center and cute little cafe to grab a quick coffee or snack before class. Would recommend this college.

So when I applied to University of South Florida, it was a blessing to see people actually doing their jobs. In terms of service, I would give this school 0 stars but it's worth the frustraition if you want to save some money. Just try and get out of there ASAP because I've been there 4 years and I am just about done. I have been lucky enough to have good teachers to help me get this far though.
