The beer menu was fantastic, I appreciated the variety and the option to do a flight. The pierogi were flavorful too and I enjoyed the mushrooms on top. If I lived in the area, I'd be a regular here. Can't wait to come back again soon.

They have a lot of different kinds of beer, I'm a fan of the premixed cocktails (Mike's hard -insert whatever here-, Smirnoff Lemonades, ect.) I went in here once to check to see if they had something, and I've been stuck going back ever since.

When I ordered them, I asked for no pineapple. The girl taking my order looked at me like I was insane and looked at the menu in disbelief. She checked if it was a listed ingredient, which it is. She said every time she has ordered them there is no pineapple. This should have been my sign that they do not have systems in place in the kitchen and likely run out of inventory items often. My tacos came. Zero cilantro, zero lime crema. I went up to the bar and asked the sullen bartender for some cilantro. She just walked away and went to the kitchen as if I called her ugly. She came back with three slivers of cilantro in a cup and said with an expressionless face "this is what the kitchen had." Not I'm sorry we are out, or even a smile or a joke. Just an F you attitude and an offensive gesture in a cup. See photo! So without the crema it lacked fat and acid. Fortunately the carnitas had fat, but it was not rendered and quite gristly. The corn tacos were at least 5 days old. Chewy and tough. They could have at least steamed them in a microwave but zero effort in this kitchen. Also their Rum is stored in whiskey barrels so it tastes like whiskey. So if you order a rum daiquiri be prepared for fruit and whiskey. It's vile! Who does that to a Rum?! Service: 1/5 See above.

I found it amusing that all signs posted to get there were at or after the turn. If you're not using GPS - watch out for that. Although they were hosting a private graduation party, the brewery itself was still open. It was surprisingly quiet around 1 p.m. on a Saturday, with just one other patron, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stop. The restrooms were spotless, and both the indoor and outdoor seating areas were beautiful and inviting. The bartender was incredibly attentive and took the time to ask what styles of beer I usually enjoy before recommending a few options. Every recommendation was spot on! We ended up sitting back, enjoying our drinks, and taking in the peaceful atmosphere, it was exactly the recharge we needed between games. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to explore the grounds, but from what we saw, the property looked gorgeous. We'll definitely make a point to return when we can spend more time there.

The whole building was super festive and fun. While busy, right before Christmas, everyone was very nice and helpful. There was barely a wait for anything, other than seating, but like I said it was so busy. The food we ordered was hot, fresh, and quick. I was really surprised by how good it was. I got a bowl potato soup and it looked small. That soup was so loaded and cheesy, I wasn't even able to finish it! Delicious! We shared a Bavarian pretzel. That was also huge, very well made. The dips for it I think are house made? They were amazing. We couldn't decide our favorite, but I think the mustard was mine. We each got a festive drink, I'm not big on drinks, but my Cosmic cosmo was fantastic and pretty! While the decor is what finally got me to visit I'm definitely planning on going back. It's very spacious, great seating. The food was impressive, service was fast and surprisingly friendly with how packed and busy they were.

Also I have an issue with my gulping reflex; meaning I drink a bit faster than your average swine. So the distillery thing never really appealed to me. As luck would have it I only had about 45 minutes to kill so I figured I couldn't do all that much damage. Dam that stuff is great. I had a vodka and tonic - the best I ever had! I also consumed a Mamajuana. Some kinda witch doctor special that I fell in love with. Flavors I had never consumed before. As i am just a neophyte don't take my recommendation. However there were travelers in the pub who seemed much more professional in these areas. they each had 4 shots and a mixed drink...and walked out the door with 3 different bottles of hard alcohol.
