Between the $99 arrangement, $12 delivery, $8 service fee, and taxes, the total came to $130 -- and what she received didn't match what I paid for nor did it match the quality of arrangements seen in previous customer reviews. The website shows a full, round bouquet with blooms built up on all sides. What arrived was flat on top with a single sprig sticking up, and lacked fullness all around. When I asked my sister for more photos -- hoping the first ones were just a bad angle -- she had to look down to see the flowers, since a large hydrangea bloom was sunk in the middle of the arrangement to take up space. It's simply not what was advertised. I've attached photos of what was advertised vs the product so you can see the difference for yourself. I order arrangements for occasions like this often and don't mind paying for quality, but this felt like amateur hour compared to the website photo. On the plus side, my sister loved the surprise and said the flowers smelled wonderful -- I just wish the arrangement itself matched what I purchased. There was an option to "tip" the florist. Probably should have done this to get some inspiration put into it.

Then I received a message the next day that they could not deliver that day but could the next day.(3rd) day. Received another message that they were not sure when it could be delivered. I specifically asked when I called with the order if they delivered to the specific facility & was assured that it was not a problem. I said I wanted to cancel & get a refund. I was offered all kinds of incentives to not cancel. It took a few minutes but I finally could cancel. Now I am waiting on the refund. NEVER again to do business with them!

There has always been plenty of activity within earshot in the back, I assume while they're working on flower orders; the storefront clearly is not the priority which is surprising because it is filled to the brim with lots of beautiful, expensive things so I know he's got a lot invested in it. I could have easily purchased what I needed online, but wanted to support a local retailer in my new hometown, and even though they did have what I was looking for this last visit (for less than I had seen online) I was so annoyed by being ignored a 3rd time in a row, I left empty handed and gave my business to an online retailer in the end. I don't know what I - a middle-aged woman in work attire - did to give them the impression that I wasn't a serious customer. I understand this is a college town, and maybe they're used to the college kids not being able to afford their nice things, but college kids have parents, like me, who can. I recommend, at the very least, the store get a bell on their door, and when it rings, acknowledge the people who are attempting to patronize you; that, alone, would have resulted in my business.
