I explained that I would be starting chemo and would likely lose my eyebrows. Carolina was incredibly understanding and made me feel like any other client--no judgment, no awkwardness, just kindness and professionalism. She did a fabulous job, and I was so impressed with my brows. Because of my treatment, I wasn't able to return for my touch-up within their normal timeframe. After completing chemo, I called and spoke with Brad, explained my circumstances, and he was extremely understanding and graciously made an exception for me. When I returned to Carolina, I had lost all of my eyebrow hair. She once again did an amazing job. When I looked in the mirror, I had tears in my eyes because for the first time in five months, I felt like I looked like myself again. That meant more to me than I can possibly explain. The service at Mila Aesthetics is impeccable, but what stands out even more is how kind, humble, compassionate, and understanding they are. There were discarded threads all over the floor and a pile of them in the corner. There were cotton balls with liquids on several surfaces including on the chair when I first walked in. And her kid is at the shop and very bored. She wants to play and talk while you wait. I understand the needs of taking care of her child, but it does negatively effect the professionalism of the store.
