We had a few hiccups with the healing process, and they were over the top helpful and continue to be whenever needed. I have nothing but good things to say. If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with this clinic during our German Shepherd's…read morefinal days was heartbreaking, mishandled, and deeply traumatizing. We brought our 11-year-old shepherd in on December 2 after she became very ill and was diagnosed with pancreatitis. She declined rapidly after that visit, to the point where she could no longer stand and was dragging her back legs -- one of the most devastating things we've ever had to witness. We returned on December 4, desperate for guidance. The owner of the clinic told us it was "just arthritis" and that she would bounce back. We asked directly if it might be time to consider humane euthanasia, and we were told "absolutely not, she is strong." We trusted that advice and left with false hope, even though our dog was clearly suffering. By December 5, her condition had worsened, and only then did the clinic diagnose her with Degenerative Myelopathy -- a severe, progressive, and ultimately fatal neurological disease. This meant she had been misdiagnosed earlier in the week, which resulted in her enduring additional days of pain that could have been prevented with an accurate diagnosis and honest guidance. On top of this, the vet we dealt with showed very little to no emotion through the entire process. While knowledgeable, she was not personable or compassionate. At a time when we were losing a member of our family, we felt no empathy, no comfort, and no acknowledgment of the emotional weight of what we were going through. The most traumatic moment for us came during the sedation process for euthanasia. We were given no warning about what we might see or what to expect. When they sedated her, her body reacted in a way that made it appear as if she was struggling. It was extremely distressing, and none of us were prepared for it. My entire family -- who were present to say goodbye -- is still deeply shaken by what we saw. Proper communication and preparation could have spared us an experience that will stay with us forever. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our beautiful girl to rest because her quality of life was gone. Losing her was painful enough, but the misdiagnosis, lack of guidance, absence of compassion, and the traumatic sedation experience made everything far worse than it needed to be. We sincerely hope no other family has to go through what we went through at this clinic.

While I do take the responsibility for not reading the fine print: I don't appreciate the high pressured sales pitch and manipulation tactics. I stopped going there months ago. They are only about the $$, they are trained to upsell you, manipulate the final price at every turn. Find a better vet that cares about the pets and not $$.

I love that I was able to book an appointment online for 2 days from the day I found him (found him on a Saturday, booked an appointment for Monday). Their hours are convenient for busy moms like myself who are juggling work, taking kids to practice, etc. I like that they offer wellness plans where you pay monthly and it covers unlimited vet visits. I don't like that it's a year long contract, though. And even if your pet passes away, you're still obligated to pay off the contract. That's pretty cold if you ask me, but I digress. I did have to wait a bit to be seen, but it wasn't too bad. The vet was extremely friendly and helpful. I had never dealt with such a small kitten before. My other cat was 2 years old when we got her. So the vet gave me lots of tips and advice which I found very useful. Overall we had a good first experience and hopefully we continue to have positive experiences here.

They are always treated well and the team goes above and beyond to give them attention during the visit to make them feel at ease. My 2 dogs are almost 2 years old and have been going since they were puppies. They are beagle chihuahua mixes that are full of energy and barkers. The boys get into everything and we are always calling the vet with questions and concerns. They answer my questions, make recommendations and when we need to come in for an emergency visit (which we do from time to time) they are more than accommodating. If they can't get us in the same day, they call the Fallston location to check with them. I just went there for the first time last week and they are fantastic too! I can't say enough good things about Festival & Fallston Vet. I would recommend them to everyone and my neighbor takes her dog there too. You and your pets are in good hands with their team.
