Willow Beach Resort - The view from our room at Willow Beach

What a great little motel/hotel right on Lake Hamilton. We had a family of nine stay in four…read moredifferent rooms, all lined up together right on the lake. The rooms were very comfortable, super cute with a retro-looking kitchen, and a small but efficient bathroom. We stayed in a double. The beds were definitely small, and very soft. Each room has an outside picnic table, chairs and grill/fire pit. Fishing right from there. And very quick replying to questions. We will definitely stay here again. Next time, though, we'll stay longer.

Quaint, cute, quiet updated lakeside lodging. I have grown…read moreto hate hotels over the years with the elevators and hallways. I much prefer a motel/lodge setup where we can park outside the door and walk right in. Willow beach really fit the bill for us. They offered us a clean little studio apartment sort of space with bed, couch, fully stocked kitchenette. The best part though, it is literally lake side with amazing views out the sliding glass door. There's a patio attached to the unit with picnic table and grill. You can't go wrong here. My only complaint is the people who checked in next door on the last night didn't understand the rules or common courtesy/privacy. The guy walked right up to our sliding glass door while I was standing there. They parked in our spot (the spots are numbered/labeled). They apparently had the room on the other side of us too so they walked back and forth across our patio all evening. That part sucked because I felt compelled to close the curtains and eliminate our beautiful view to keep the neighbors from walking up to the glass. That only happened on the last night. There were other neighbors before them that didn't do that. Most people would know better. But that definitely ruined the last night for us. It was creepy to say the least. We were there during off season, so definitely other open rooms available where these people didn't have to stay right on top of us. Oh well, I would still stay here again.

LOVE Riverview Cabins & Canoes!…read more Hubby & I do a weekend get away to the Arkansas mountains at least once a year & this last time we decided to stay here! We have stayed many places & we usually stay at Petit Jean but we decided to check out Riverview Cabins & Canoes & it turned out to be the best trip to the Arkansas mountains we have ever had. We rented the small cabin for 2 with the hot tub. It was so adorable! The bed was super comfy & the hot tub was amazballs. It was perfect for 2, very romantic & had everything we needed. The first night it rained & we hung out & made veal meatballs. So yummy! We loved the little gas stove & the giant shower. There was also a cute little fireplace & bear rug! So adorable. The hiking in the woods was cool, the canoeing & river was beautiful & the riding stables were well kept. The whole property was very nice. All the Cabins were picture perfect. There are a couple different canoeing trips you can take & you can hike & ride the trails. There is a little town near by you can go have lunch too, we checked that out, it was very cool with some very cool old buildings & a couple fun lunch spots. It is out in BFE, Walmart, grocery stores & liquor stores are like an hours drive away so bring everything you need b4 you get there. The lady that works the check in was very sweet & very kind to us. The clocks sprang forward (daylight saving time) & we overslept the last day bc our bed was that comfy! I called her & she was very cool about it & gave us an extra hour to check out. That was almost 3 months ago & we are still talking about what a great time we had there :)) We can't wait to go back! Highly highly recommend.

This is such a cool stay with a beautiful view. Everything was so comfortable from essentials in the kitchen to heated floors in the bathroom. We enjoyed the hot tub, patio, and hanging out in the common area for puzzles and games. We also spotted wild turkey and deer during our visit. Overall the area is quiet and very family friendly. We loved how private everything felt. I would recommend this place and plan to be back myself!

More than we needed but it was the only one that wasn't booked. We are so glad we booked it because I got up during the night most nights and went to use the bathroom upstairs so I didn't wake my wife up and ended up sleeping in the elevated bunk bed because I'm a big kid. The firepit was awesome for cool November nights. The couch on the back porch was perfect for morning coffee drinking and watching for animals. We saw lots of deer, turkeys, and squirrels. We spent one whole day just chilling at the treehouse cooking a gumbo, drinking wine and watching football. I mean, this is as good as glamping gets. Other days we explored Hot Springs and the surrounding areas because it is only like 2.5 miles from downtown Hot Springs. And you can uber from your treehouse to downtown and back. Perfect is an understatement. I've created a monster with my wife. She says she wants to visit Hot Springs again next year but won't settle for anything less than In The Trees. I agreed with her.
