I guess Im not the only person that has had a negative experience with Edge Up Network (Read other Yelp reviews)
I rarely write a poor review, I really like to give people and organizations the benefit of the doubt, however, my experience with Bob Friedenthal and Edge Up Network was a bit alarming to say the least. I am actually not as bothered about the money invested/lost (that didn't yield the results I wanted) as I am with the way I was communicated with. I didn't understand that when you orally agree to get started with them for a given period of months, that after that time, the contract and agreement automatically rolls over. It proved difficult to communicate with the 3rd world contracted point of contact. (english was clearly his 2nd language) and he simply did not understand what I wanted to accomplish. When I indicated that I wished to cancel I thought my relationship was done. Apparently, they have a protocol that you must generate an email to the owner of the company, Bob Friedenthal, to actually stop the credit card charges. I didn't do that and the charges continued. I had no more personal contact with that point of contact...I believe he was calling from the Philippines, but had a local (310) area code. I simply never took his calls...again, I assumed I had cancelled the service. When it recently came to my attention that Edge Up Network were still some kind of marginal "contact ads" to my account and that I was still being charged, (stupid me for missing this on my AMX statement) I asked for Mr. Friedenthal to call me. Instead a received an initial email that suggested that I was "confused" and the email contained some other choice comments that kind of lit my fire to actually take the time to write this review. I did ask for the courtesy of a refund...I won't tell you what came back to me after that request. I'll simply suggest you read the other reviews on this page and tread carefully with this organization. The whole experience was just not very cool and certainly not very positive. Bob and Edge Up Network proved to be an "Edgy" network at best. read more
