I was unable to gain access, even though I had previously registered in the system. There was nothing in the initial message or follow-up messages that indicated service would be denied if I did not fill out the electronic forms. I went to the office on the scheduled day and was told that I needed to go online fill out the registration forms. The receptionist sent me a new link, which never worked. I asked for paper forms, and she told me they were no longer using paper forms. The office manager informed me that it was a company decision, that it did not make sense to her, but that she could not let me see the doctor if I did not fill out the electronic forms. They did not have any tablets on hand for people whose devices would not connect to their network. We walked out of the office without seeing a doctor because my device would not access their server. There is no world in which that makes sense, especially in a professional healthcare network where the patient's care should always take priority. Dr. Kuo is a great doctor, it is difficult for me to believe he knows about this type of screening. My issue is with the medical group.

They were open on Saturday and it was surprisingly empty; my experiences with U.C. they are almost always crowded and with crying children. So it was nice to go right to the desk and get helped, and it was covered mostly by my insurance. I did not wait long, less than fifteen minutes in a nice waiting area (and you can step outside easily too, which is comfy). I was looked at, probed and then seen by the doctor in a reasonable amount of time. Although the doctor was not able to fully figure out what was wrong with me, I was prescribed medicines and felt they were helpful. I was asked to return in a few days for x-rays which would be included in the cost I already paid. I returned for this and although they could not determine anything more, they were helpful in getting me to see my regular physician and provide the information for the doctor. I will return to U.C. for sure if I am in need.

It took thirty minutes for my husband to be seen. There were a lot of veterans there so I guess (like my husband) they no longer go to the VA (it's not a friendly place) and go to urgent care instead. The place was clean, the front desk staff was friendly, and the waiting room wasn't packed like a hospital. I guess we were lucky. My husband said the doctor was polite and even though I had to wait an hour and a half for us to leave everything went smoothly.

From my first phone call to schedule an appointment to checking out after the appointment, absolutely everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and frankly wonderful. We didn't have much of a wait and Dr. D'Souza himself is quite impressive - obviously knowledgeable but with a wonderful bedside manner. Impressing my dad is not an easy task - yet you all did it! I really can't say enough good things about this experience - it might rank as the best overall medical appointment experience we've had (and we've had plenty).

We are always sent to his PA, who is nice, but with whooping cough, MRIs, thyroid surgery,etc, we might expect to at least meet the doctor. A (really) grumpy woman takes our phone calls. It takes a week, at least, for referrals, even critically important ones. The front desk once lost our visit entirelly. I think all this grumpy inefficiancy on the staff's part reflects badly on the doctor. But who knows, we never met him!

Being a naturopath, he is familiar with both natural and allopathic methods of treatment. Although his staff said he was familiar with the neurological issues I was asking about, he did little to discuss them with me. He also did not ask if I wanted a more natural or allopathic approach. He sent me out the door with an allopathic prescription for something he could have easily addressed with a natural approach. When I called to cancel my follow up appointment, his staff was curt and dismissive and attempted to make me feel badly about cancelling. He is not someone I would seek out if I was looking for a kind, respectful medical practitioner.

Now I'm older, and I'm looking around for someone who better meets my needs. Let me start off by saying this... Dr. Wolfson is a good doctor. He's experienced, is part of a good practice, and is very competent. My review comes down to his personal style, which will hopefully be helpful to you in determining if he'll be a good match for you. I personally find Dr. Wolfson to be very conservative, usually taking a "wait and see" type approach to most things. He is very matter of fact, which sometimes comes across as poor bedside manner. I never particularly felt comfortable with him, but that may just have been a "chemistry" thing (in the doctor/patient sort of way)... As a woman, I think I would have been more comfortable with another woman (which is who I'm looking for now). I'll add that his practice is fairly good at getting appointments in same day, and I've had good experiences with the nurse practitioners there. If you like someone who is very matter-of-fact and doesn't need a lot of "fluff", Dr. Wolfson might be a good match for you. If you like more discussion and proactivity, you might try someone else.

I have only see him once so I cannot say much else other than what I have experienced thus far. The practice is great and I can say if you don't see a Dr b/c they are unavailable, their nurse practitioners are amazing. You may prefer this depending on what you need to get checked out. Dr. Wolfson was the one to deliver the news that I was pregnant. Literally the conversation over the phone was "Hi Amanda. So, you're pregnant". Funny when I really think about it. He did ask me if I knew my options since it was a surprise, but he didn't need to go much further than that. He also did ask if I was ok when he dropped the news on me. Dr. Wolfson is experienced and is knowledgeable. I say that's enough to stick around as his patient. I am not sure how he is as far as his treatment style [old vs new] but I was overall a happy patient. If I compare him to another doctor I went to when I was searching, Dr. Wolfson was 8 out of 10. The previous doctor I saw, a measly 2 out of 10. Dr. Wolfson does care, he is just short and to the point. Since my happy news visit, I have been in to see the NP for a lovely cough (bronchitis) and I love her, her name is Bether. Very thorough. Hope this helps.

My worst experience ever with a "medical professional". She looks at data only and does not listen…read moreto what a patient tells her about his or her medical history. The worst part is she is callus in her treatment of patients with serious issues. During my appointment unexpected critical health issues were discovered and the exam took longer than is typical. At the end of the exam I heard her tell her MA in the hall and I quote "Let's get him out of here, we'll be lucky if he makes it out of the parking lot". She let me walk out of the office and even failed a prescription that was critical to my condition. I can only wonder how many of her patient's lives have been shortened by her lack of concern. I could have read the blood tests myself and just gone to a web page and gotten better medical treatment / advice. Because she has input to the computerized records of her employer, she entered errors in my medical records which keep coming up when I see other specialists. I now find myself constantly being asked about conditions I do not even have !! Not recommended. She was unprofessional, uncaring, and not competent enough to even enter anything into a person's medical records. I would have given no stars but the web page does not accommodate that entry.
