After seeing him twice, I discovered that I was actually out-of-network, and Aetna was supposed to cover the visits. I offered to make a payment within the month, but he was not amenable and threatened to send the bill to collections. It would be beneficial for the provider to hire a front desk staff member capable of verifying insurance coverage before appointments. This could help avoid negative reviews related to insurance and payment issues. Additionally, during my visits, the provider performed minimal adjustments and spaced out appointments, which appeared to be an attempt to increase billing frequency. This approach seems both inefficient and dishonest. Consequently, I would not recommend this provider.

I was nervous the doctor would be upset with us but he treated us in a very positive demeanor and took great care of us. Today was my third and final visit at Morrison Chiropractic. I am extremely disappointed with the…read morelevel of unprofessionalism I experienced during my very short time there. On the first day, one of the nurses asked me how my shoulder and neck issues came about. I explained that I thought it was a combination of a few things, including my anxiety. When I mentioned anxiety, she scoffed. She told me "you can't do that to yourself" implying that my anxiety is self-inflicted. She went on to say that if I prayed more, I wouldn't have so much stress and that God would help me find peace. Today, Queen was playing over the radio while the same nurse assisted me. I mentioned that I wanted to see the movie Bohemian Rhapsody. The nurse said she enjoyed the rock music in the movie, "but...you know...the whole gay thing makes me really uncomfortable...seeing two men kiss." I was appalled. Before I left, I let Dr. Morrison know of these instances. I informed him of the importance of mental health, that topics such as religion and politics are never appropriate to bring up with a patient, and that as healthcare professionals they serve the WHOLE community - including LGBT individuals. His response was "Okay. Thank you," and he opened the door for me to leave. He offered no apology for the unprofessionalism and bigotry represented in his office. If you are a supporter of the LGBT community and believe in the importance of mental health, then Morrison Chiropractic is not the place for you.

They are the most professional and welcoming staff. They seem to truly enjoy their jobs. Dr Morrison works with his patients to be able to resume regular activity including running or other exercise programs.
