I started going to him after a gym related injury at the referral of a gym buddy and am so glad I did! After "fixing" me from that injury I continued to see him for regular maintenance visits several times a year. In Aug. of 2014 I was hit by a car and Dr. Wheeler was there every step of the way through that recovery as well. Up to and at that point in time I was single but today am married and my wife is also a patient of his as we both go for regular maintenance visits. She loves him as much as I do. We appreciate his integrity and his straight forward "No BS" approach to his business. As another reviewer on a different site said, "he knows his craft," and that is so true.

I have been a severe chronic body cracker (neck, back, shoulders, arms, knees). I was scared I'd hurt myself and started trying everything to help. I bought every product on Amazon and tried PT, Spinal Therapy, and Massage. He's the first one that makes me feel better physically and mentally and explained it well. My first visit was evaluative- took X-rays, and explained what my journey back to physical normalcy would be like. I'm also pleased with the way he handled things pre/post-closing/opening for Covid-19. Everyone wears masks, he uses hand sanitizer often, and he even gave a mask that was better than the one I was using. Overall I'd highly recommend this service.

I was very happy to be called by way of follow up and I had an appointment scheduled for the first week of June. The day of my appointment, they called to reschedule. I was disappointed but rescheduled for the next week. The next Tuesday comes, I show up at the office and the doors are locked. My appointment was at 2 and that's when they open so I waited for 15 minutes but the office was completely empty. I ended up calling the phone number to see what was happening, the doctor picked up and informed me he was at another location and I would have to reschedule. He was very apologetic but I wasn't going to reschedule my appointment for a third time so I will look elsewhere for a chiropractor.

Yet when they start making their presence known, it is usualyl in the form of pain! When those times arise, the options are 1. Suffer through 2. Find some pharmaceuticals 3. Try home remedies- Heat and Ice are my favs 4. Find a professional who can help. I must admit that I have done options 1-3 many times, and I do not hold most Chiropractors in very high regard because of negative past experiences. I recently decided to give Dr. Mark Keele at Boulevard Chiropractic a try since he came highly recommended by Barbara Renfro who my massage therapist. She told me that Dr. Mark was an RN and then became a DC. I liked knowing that since that is my profession. Dr. Mark approaches his clients with gentleness and compassion and although he offers x-rays, he does not track his clients into regimens. This is a welcome change from those I have seen before that seem to have endless recommended therapy recommendations. He also utilizes a very cool Cox-D table Combining proven Cox Technic flexion distraction protocols as developed by Dr. James Cox. His office is not fancy, but it is comfortable and efficient, leaving the patient with the impression that their care, not office decor is what matters!

I am a fan of "DR. Mark". There are a few reasons for this, the first being that the first words…read moreout of his mouth during the visit did not revolve around setting up a "treatment regimen" which with other chiropractors seems to translate to, "milking the poor sucker in pain". Dr. Mark was different, his approach with me was 1 visit weekly for a couple weeks, now, by HIS recommendation, I am seeing him biweekly. My point in saying all that is that he doesn't seem to be in it for the money, and he has never tried to"upsell" a treatment our service to me. He has this awesome stretching table, the Cox technics table, that he fully explains before he uses. He has a manner about him that engenders trust, but without the "superior Dr." complex. His office doesn't have a staff, so your entire appointment tine is spent in his care. I have insurance that covers chiropractic care, but Dr. Mark clued me in that his cash price was actually less expensive in the end, and required a lot less work on both ends. I suppose the true judgment of a chiropractor should be how your back/neck pain levels are being managed under their care, and I can give Dr. Mark an A+ in this area. In short, if you are having neck/back pain or discomfort, it would be well worth the time to make an appointment, just not for the same time i want my appointment, haha.

I couldn't walk far without needing to sit down, I often caught myself holding my breath because of the pain, and I waddled when I walked, even with a cane. Fairly quickly, my flare-ups became less intense and much less frequent. After a couple of months of twice-weekly treatments, I was moving noticeably better. I no longer waddled, I stopped holding my breath from pain, and my knees began to regain mobility, even though Dr. Wolter told me from the start that he probably wouldn't be able to do much for them. Today, my right knee has fully unlocked and my left knee has improved by about 95%. My overall pain has been drastically reduced. I no longer need muscle relaxers, and I can work more than eight hours and still feel fine afterward. I receive knee injections every three months, and the last two weeks before each injection are usually very painful. This most recent cycle was much more manageable, and I was able to control the discomfort with topical treatments. One unexpected benefit was that my GP measured me and found that I had regained 1.2 inches of height!!!!!! The ladies at the front desk are always friendly, helpful, and efficient. I'm never made to feel rushed, yet I'm usually in and out quickly. One feature I especially appreciate is the treatment table. Instead of having to painfully climb onto an elevated table, you simply walk up to it while it's level, and the doctor slowly positions it for treatment. Dr. Wolter is a rock star. His practice combines exceptional knowledge and care with genuine friendliness and professionalism. If you're dealing with any chronic pain, I highly recommend giving Dr. Wolter a visit.
