During our first visit, I explained that my neck injury treatment would be complicated due to bilateral shoulder injuries. I explained that they were out-of-state work related injuries and that I was having issues finding providers willing to take me on due to the insurance issues. Emily volunteered to sign on as a provider. Just like that. She cheerfully filled out all of that paperwork. Over the past couple of years, Emily has treated me for my injuries through two surgeries (and likely a third soon) with the same gracious ease and compassion that she exhibited that first day. She's treated my husband for a knee injury (same car accident) and my son when his knee was annihilated on the football field. She's been a fantastic cheerleader and advocate for me throughout this ordeal. Honestly, there are days when I feel like Emily is the only person involved in my care who actually listens when I talk. She knows when to push and she knows when to stop. She's also funny and charming and makes the work of recovery seem less like work. When Emily took some time off to have a baby, my treatment was taken over by Steve. Steve is just a skilled and friendly as Emily. He's easy to talk to and willing to consider all available options for treatment (even crazy sounding stuff like "Dry Needling"). He's also not offended when you tell him that you'll never consider that painful, new aged hooey ever again. These folks will go out of their way to make sure that you get what you need to get better. You just have to show up and sweat. So, when you find yourself busted and broken, I'd highly recommend the team at KORT in New Albany. You'll get top-notch, compassionate care from people who actually love what they do and do it well.

The few bright notes, Mr. Bryce Fitzgerald, Dr. Goodin, Jordan, and Jessica with PMC. Without them, this practice would fall apart. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. They have assigned people to a role, but they operate in their own silos and don't even work as a synchronized team at all. Wow...Thank you to Mr. Bryce Fitzgerald, Dr. Goodin, Jordan, and Jessica with PMC. Start your own practice, your the BEST !!!! The rest are just Ancillary, over paid, personnel who don't care about patient care. They are in dire need of a Patient Coordinator to help the customer/ patient from start to finish with smooth transitions and timely information including whether or not my insurance covered the entire process, Examination, Diagnosis, X-Ray/MRI, Pre-Op, Post-Op, follow-up, and PT. No one seem to talk to their adjacent team member. I was in Radiology for 10 years and apparently patient care is not a priority or sense of urgency anymore. Thank you to Jordon, Dr. Goodin, Mr. Bryce Fitzgerald, and Jessica with PMC, You guys are the Best !!!

I have never written a review, but I am writing this for the benefit of future patients…read more Dr Michael Doyle is an excellent neurosurgeon, but for the past 2 weeks he has completely dismissed me when I asked for help with post op pain that has been getting more severe every day in my abdomen. Every other medical provider I went to for help said I had to see my surgeon about it. Two days ago, he did finally, begrudgingly order a CT after I begged for help. he followed up with saying 'I don't want you to get your hopes up because it's not going to find anything. What you're going through is completely normal and expected'. That same evening I was rushed to the ER in an ambulance because the pain led to severe uncontrollable symptoms. They ran a CT and found a Pocket of fluid that turns out to be a post-op infection deep in the soft tissue. I was admitted and put on IV antibiotics. I'll be in here for at least a few more days. A couple of minutes ago, he came in my hospital room. I tried to say that his dismissiveness made me feel like I was on my own and that he needed to listen to his patients. As I started talking he got up to walk out the door and before I could get a few words out, he turned around and said 'Mrs Herlihy I'm a surgeon not a psychologist'. So now I am going to say what I wanted to say: Dr. Michael Doyle's is dismissive and demeaning. He will never get better if he can't sit and actively listen to his patients for a minute. He should let his PA handle all interactions with humans when they are awake, because she is wonderful.

There is another location south of here in Clarksfield, Indiana, but this is the North location. This facility is deemed an acute one which takes patients who have had a stroke or a traumatic brain injury and rehabilitates them until they are maybe at least able to feed themselves and possibly walk. My primary care physician recommended this location for my mother, who had a stroke around Thanksgiving and spent three weeks in the hospital. Before the stroke, she was very active, independent and could care for herself. After the stroke, she needed to have some rehabilitation and therapy before coming home. Other facilities wanted to throw my mom away into long-term care and not really give her a chance or opportunity to attempt to rehab herself. The intake agent for PAM Health was NOT like that and she said the staff at the facilities do not have that attitude either. She took care of everything that facilitated my mom being transported from the hospital to the rehab location. Everyone who was associated with the care of my mother was amazing. They were caring, empathetic, and patient with her needs, but also challenging with her therapy when needed. In addition, they were communicative with me in terms of identifying her needs challenges, diagnosis and prognosis. I really appreciate their candidness and empathetic nature. I would not have been able to endure this whole process without them. If any other traumatic things happen to me or any of my family members, I would definitely try to get them into this facility.

I am so very thankful my friend referred me to Dr Clegg. Anyone who complains about their knee pain I tell them of Dr Clegg and what a phenomenal experience I had. I had a partial knee replacement done 7 years ago by another doctor and it popped out of place constantly and I just thought I would have to live with it the rest of my life. I am forever thankful and grateful for Dr Clegg and his staff!!! It was a great experience both times.
