At most dental offices, the staff usually contacts your insurance before your appointment to verify coverage or let you know if anything is needed. Here, they schedule your appointment first, have you come in, and then expect you to call your insurance yourself. It feels like a waste of time when they could have informed patients about this before arriving. Another issue is the lack of follow up and communication. I've had to constantly follow up with them myself, yet they rarely return calls or reach back out regarding appointments. It doesn't feel like they truly care about their new patients or patient experience. If they are overwhelmed with too many patients, they should consider limiting the number of new patients they accept so they can provide better service and communication.
