That IS NOT standard practice and every dentist I spoke with -- about 10 total -- told me that numbing is always considered a necessary part of the procedure and is NOT BILLED SEPARATELY. Of course it is necessary. But First Choice, unlike anyone else, bills it as a separate procedure. And, of course, United Health Care doesn't pay for a Code 9215 as a separate procedure (why should they. It is ALWAYS considered part of the filling process). My girlfriend was charged about $250 extra for numbing and when she asked First Choice why, they said that they bill it separately. No explanation why. My dentist was incredulous when I told him what happened to her. If you like a dishonest, rip-off business, this place will put a smile on your face. Otherwise, find another dentist.

My denture had a defect and after only 4 weeks wearing them, they cracked. We live in FL for the winter and so we were not there when the crack appeared. I had to go to a local dentist with fear that the crack would get worse. The local dentist said it was definitely a defect and that he was sure Dr Still would do the right thing by me as the denture was only 4 weeks old. After being rudely treated by phone and told that it was not their responsibility if the denture cracked even though it was only 4 weeks old and that they would not reimburse me for the $150 after myself and my wife spent over $10,000 at their firm. We had the local Dentist's office manager call and explain what had transpired with the local dentist fixing the denture and the owner, Stacy and Brook were abusively rude to the local Dentist's office manager. We are reporting this incident to Senior Abuse Exploitation as we would not recommend the Laurel Manor firm to anyone as they do not stand by their work. Stacy said she would not let us speak to our Doctor as his patient. Watch out as there are so many firms like this that think they can abuse anyone over the age of 60. What they don't know is that over 60, we know there are ways to protect ourselves as well as our fellow man.

My appointment was scheduled for 9:15 a.m., and I arrived at 9:00 a.m. Immediately, I was greeted by a kind staff member who escorted me to the dental chair and proceeded with the X-rays. I explained that I had difficulty holding the X-rays in my mouth, and she was very considerate, ensuring I was comfortable.
