The consultation was smooth, the treatment was strong & very powerful. I came for some relief from digestion issues & stress from lots of work & travel & felt the treatment was exactly what I needed. I could feel the symptoms already starting to ease. I have had lots of acupuncture in the US that was expensive & ineffective, Glory-In was exactly the opposite: effective & a great price. Will return again when I am in Hong Kong. Thank you!!

I live in Southern California and am a user of chiropractic. My job requires a lot of attending…read moremeetings and also travel. This week after a grueling flight, my neck was severely out of alignment. I decided to try this team after searching the internet. I wanted to make sure I was able to communicate my pain issues. Within 10 mins of speaking with the Dr. he knew what my issue was, he explained how he was going to correct/adjust and then he went to it. It was immediate relief and he was able to address my back and front ribs which were giving me shoulder rotation pain. I had a chiropractor in California who was able to do this but he moved to Hawaii, so I was thankful this Dr. was able to relieve not only my neck and upper back pain but also the rib adjustments were a pleasant surprise and reiief. I will definitely come back when I'm in HK next year again.

Living in Hong Kong is hazardous for a lot of reasons, and when my knees started to hurt, I knew I needed help. Especially since I live in a six story walk up and use Ladder Street to get to work! The office is easy to get to, staff are friendly, the space is good. I felt listened to. It's pricey, and turns out you actually have to do the exercises they give you if you want to see improvement. :) But if you do, it's great.

Every Hong Kong girl has her go-to Chinese herbalist and mine is Dr Kelly. She is very kind and…read morepatient and really takes her time to understand your ailments and explain her treatments in western medical terms despite the long wait in the zen-like waiting room. Dr Kelly comes from a family of Chinese and western doctors- the Chain ancestors were doctors back in Ching Dynasty and her husband Dr Chain is a doctor. Her philosophy is blending traditional Chinese medicine with western alternate medicines like aromatherapy and various natural supplements. She also sells Chinese healing herbal teas packaged in western convenience- shrink wrapped tea bags that fits easily into purses for regular consumption. The clinic also boasts a stone energy chamber which facials and yoga classes are held for energy optimization. Bottomline: Dr Kelly, yoga class in stone energy chamber, acupuncture for weight-loss. is awesome.

Chain's is my jam. At the recommendation of another physio-acupuncturist (who wasn't qualified to…read moredispense Chinese Medicine), I started taking my mom here to help treat her mood swings and sleeplessness associated with Alzheimer's Disease. The treatments were very helpful in stabilizing my mom's symptoms. On top of that, the environment of Chain's is extremely warm, inviting, and calming. I love this place! Chain's has been in existence for literally hundreds of years - since the Qing Dynasty. It doesn't get much more legit than that, right? Dr. Kelly Chain and her husband head up the clinic, and they do a bang-up job. They not only offer the usual acupuncture/cupping/Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatments, but they also have branched out into beauty treatments, such as natural anti-aging (i.e., no botox, fillers, and all that other nasty shit that you see SO MUCH OF in Hong Kong . . . ugh) and spa-type treatments. They even offer a yoga class, which takes place in their "stone chamber," a room made of maifan stone with special energetic healing properties. If you're feeling really shitty and come in for a cupping and/or acupuncture treatment, they'll set you up in the stone chamber to give you a little bit of a boost from your treatment (and not upcharge you for it). I started coming to Chain's for cupping/acupuncture/TCM on a weekly basis, after I saw the results on my mom. The results were incredible. Without delving into too much detail, Dr. Kelly and her colleague Dr. Kay Tam (she is phenomenal!!!) were able to rebalance my chi using needles and TCM, and they corrected a hormone imbalance that I had been struggling with for YEARS due to my refusal to "correct" it with western medicine (sorry western doc, but you ain't gonna just put me on The Pill and think that's gonna solve all my problems). I also came down with probably the worst flu of my life while I was living in Hong Kong, and Dr. Kay Tam fixed me up good as new with 2 cupping treatments, a bunch of acu-needles, and TCM. Chain's has made me an acu/TCM addict (in a good way!), and I will be getting my fix every time I return to Hong Kong to visit. Bonus: most medical/health insurance plans offer coverage/benefits for acupuncture & TCM, so claim that shizz!

After getting my jaw dislocated after a massage from a place I'm seriously considering writing an…read morehonest review for, I stumbled upon this chiropractic clinic for treatment and has since been a fan. The central clinic is located in an old-school office building so the entrance is pretty normal looking, but I've been to one of their other locations that has a giant 10-ft, 3D spine as part of the entrance decor. That is pretty darn cool I must say. Doctor Andy has treated my neck and jaw and he is awesome- very friendly and chatty that it makes any neck adjustment less daunting. He is very meticulous in his work and offers wisdoms on how to avoid injuries again. Unlike other chiropractors, he manages his time well and very rarely do I have to wait even when the schedule is packed. Bottomline: Dr Andy and the traction machine (which sounds like the title of a Nancy Drew mystery)
