They pushed us to choose between the only two candidates they sent us and when we had to let her go after 2 months they refused to replace her without another fee. They also were completely uninterested in learning why it didn't work out and offered to replace her with someone they hadn't even interviewed yet (for a fee). This is not a premium service but they charge like they are. This is a resume factory. Also, when we pushed them, it turned out they hadn't been forthcoming about the candidates experience. When we were considering her, they told us that she had taken their newborn class but it turns out that was actually over 10 years ago and she hadn't had any actual experience with newborns for over 20 years. Just avoid. There are plenty of other agencies out there.

I was asleep. I'm 74. I'm retired, my husband had recently died and my son has cancer. He over reacted to the dampness. Never told me. Four men arrived and had him sign a paper. Only name on it was ServiceMaster Clean. State code requires a company like this to register with the state. All documents are required to have their registration number, name, address, phone number, email, and the name of the person in the company. The document my son signed had only the name, a violation of the requirements of the state. They were not registered with the state and had no registration number. That's why it was not on the document. They took a moisture reading with an instrument, dabbed up the water on the bed and floor, one man went outside and adjusted the tilt of the air conditioner which was, at that time, tilting inward due to the deer in the neighborhood, placed a fan at the opposite end of the bed(?) And in the living room(?) Then hung our for 3 1/2 hours. What were they doing. I have dome to know that as my son has cancer he has a medical card for medical marijuana. Apparently the guys who came brought their own weed and they hung put and smoked and laughed and had a good time. No alcohol was involved. I heard nothing. I have tinnitus in my ears which is very noisy and make it hard to hear. Their boss was calling them on their cell phones and as my son told me they kept having up because they don't like him and because they might have been sent to another job. Their boss arrived and came in and talked to them and to my son. They packed up and left after 12 AM. I woke up and came outside to find out what the noise was. They were driving away then. The next morning I was told the whole story by my son, without the marijuana part because he didn't want to get them in trouble. The document my son was asked/told to sign had no estimate of the work and the men asked if he was allowed to act as my agent. Not understanding what that meant he signed the paper. No one explained it to him. I called them and asked them to take their equipment out of the bedroom and living room. (?).I cleaned up the residual water with paper towels and ther was no damage on the mattress, floor or wall. A while later I received a bill for $1100. WHAT? . I told them I would not pay it because 1. They were not properly registered with the state. 2. My son was not authorized to act a my agent and they asked for no proof of that. 3. The "professionals" should have seen that there was not need for their services and left. The elderly judge who heard this in Small Claims court was allowed only 30 minutes per case. My material was not printed out for the judge to see, only the ServiceMaster material was printed. I was not allowed to speak and explain the events of that evening and the judge ruled in their favor because he said well they were there for 3 hours so we have to assume they did some work. My son was insulted by the judge and asked if he could read the document he signed. We did this via Zoom. At times we were told that our witnesses had to leave the room and that we had to turn off our sound. My son left the room and went into a room farther away in the house. I could see by arms reaching across the desk that their witness was still in the room and that they hadn't followed the instructions. Make sure any company which does restoration and repair is registered with the state. It costs all of 110 dollars per year to register. All the proper information must be on the document and they must provide you with an estimate. If someone is allowed to act as your agent then out that in writing. When they are done don't stand around talking. That will be billed to you. This was a totally unpleasant experience. True professionals would have left and said there is no water problem here. This was a fraudulent action on their part.

They've been letting the kids go to the playground for a period of time without insurance. Parents only found out daycare didn't have insurance when local playground asked for proof of insurance before allowing kids to continue to play there. Daycare doesn't even bring the kids out for walks, they will claim they do but when parents ask their child from various classes they all say they went to MMZ (their indoor play area) even when it's a beautiful day out. If you care about your kids getting fresh air/sunlight during the day especially during the spring/summer season. This center is not for you. Who knows what other insurance or things the center is hiding and not telling parents about. There's been about 5 break-ins since we've been here. They tried fixing the issue but intruders/homeless man keeps finding a way into the daycare. Most recent incident occurred around Dec 2025/Jan 2026. Center is suppose to update their security/lock system but it's been months and no update has been given if another system will be replaced. If you don't care about your child's safety just enroll them here now!!!

If my child is injured or a safety concern happens at school I've been notified before i pick her up and the situations have been dealt with properly. The center is great at sharing photos and updates throughout the day about my child though sometimes miss details like tracking exactly how much she ate and exactly what happened in the bathroom uses. However, this is already so much more than many of my friends that I'm personally ok with it. While all the staff have been great to work with, the Assistant Director is specifically amazing and helps to make the school/day care feel like a community. Areas for improvement would be: better access to outdoor areas, more regular communication with parents on how my child is doing and how i can support her specific and individual growth (the send general lessons but nothing that has felt helpful to me) and better front door management (haven't seen the doors propped open but know that at times no one is in the front of the school). In a world where early education is undervalued and keeping talented staffis challenging, Bright Horizons Chelsea seems to be doing a good job and i feel confident my daughter will be set up for success when we eventually grow out of it.

The care they provide the children in unmatched. I travel over a bridge each day to drop my little ones because I haven't found other places with equitable services. The communication is great. We use a Pro Care App and the teachers check in throughout the day. My 6 y.o. loves the summer camp and looks forward to going each day. 4 of the 5 days the children are out of the building, and they go swimming each week! The extra meal service is helpful so I don't have to worry about prep. The program provides trip shirts, so aside from her shorts I don't have to worry about wardrobe headaches. My daughter loved making new friends in camp. Last year we attempted another camp for a few weeks that was closer to home and quickly switched back because she hated it. For my youngest who is now 2, he too participated in the summer program. What I liked about his program is they have an awesome backyard and have outside water time daily (weather permitting). They also get to have inside gym time to keep their bodies active and moving. His bookbag was always full of activities he completed in school and my pro care communication app, always up to date showing me the fun activities he was engaging in. The best part for me, since I am always running is I could communicate with the staff when I was in transit so they could being to prep him for departure at the end of the day. As far as the cost, it's worth it and comparable to other programs that have infants and toddlers. The program we attempted in 2023 with my middle child was a bit more expensive, and just didn't work out for us. We will be back next year!
