I carefully prepared by packing additional boxes, labeling everything clearly, and organizing where items should go in the new apartment. About three hours into the move, the crew said the truck was full and left a large amount of my belongings behind at the original house. When we arrived at the apartment, the movers damaged the floor in the entryway and initially denied responsibility even after I showed them photos of the condition beforehand. The service advertised as "white glove" was never delivered. Items removed from walls were not rehung, furniture was not fully set up, and much of the crew stood around waiting for payment while the job remained incomplete. To make matters worse, I paid over $2,000, and the company ultimately refused to return to finish the job. I was left with three truckloads of my belongings still at the house, which I then had to move myself. The movers themselves were polite, but the planning, coordination, and follow-through from management were extremely disappointing. I expected professional service and instead experienced property damage and an incomplete move.

After checking reviews and calling a few listings in our area, we found that U-Load-It was the most reasonably priced, locally owned, and 10 minutes away! Now that's a great combination. Their communications were flawless (both on the phone and through email) - friendly, concise, and understandable. Our dumpster was delivered exactly on time, placed exactly as we wanted, and the driver took the time to school us on how to operate the door and load level. Pick up was exactly when promised. And there was no trash on the driveway or damage to either the surrounding lawn or driveway. Recommendation? We plan to use them again whenever the need arises, and recommend them whenever possible.

It cost $329 and you get to have it for 7 days. I pick a morning drop off. It was dropped off about 10:20am. I could have gone with a smallest size but just to be sure, i went with the next size up. I didn't need the dumpster for 7 days so I called them to ask them to come pick up sooner. They picked it up the same day I called. I will definitely use them again in the future. They do send you a text when they are on their way which is very helpful. The reason for 4 stars is I wish the person who had dropped off the dumpster had showed me how to open it up rather than driving off. I did figure it out and was able to do it. But there were a few minutes were I was like I'm going to have to call these people to help me out.
